Re: What kind of ordnance is the EEC packing?
In Tribunal, there were explosive charges that you had to use to breach into areas of the ruin under Mournhold that was blocked off by debris. Whether or not it was actual gunpowder or a mix of more Tamrielic ingredients that made a similar effect, I don't know, but it's not out of the realm of ...

Re: Delphine and Esbern
I actually think that if not Delphine, at least Esbern is kinda interesting, and I wouldn't want them killed... Though at the same time I agree that if you're going to have to kill Paarthurnax, you should have had an equivalent quest to hit out at the two Blades agents if you wanted to side with the ...

Re: Role playing in Vanilla Morrowind
Well, I love going minimal on patches and content, but I can't speak enough for the unofficial patches, it really does fix up a lot of issues and bugs, and if you wanted to run with only one mod, I'd recommend that one at the very least since it's so good.

Re: Favorite race to play as?
I personally love the vikings and Romans when I'm studying history, so I tend to play as one of them while incorporating real-life aspects of their life into the game to supplement the story I tell in my head and how I play them.

Re: Returning to the 360 version of Oblivion
I used to not have a problem with the Oblivion lockpicking game, but coming from Skyrim and ESO it's definitely pretty hard at low levels. I find myself darting to Leyawiin for the Skeleton Key as soon as possible now.

Re: Which game to you feel it is easiest to Roleplay in?
This is a good time to mention that one of the Skyrim mods I do use is Live Another Life, which I haven't messed around with too much but it's actually a great alternate start mod which I've found pretty good for aiding role-playing. If the vanilla Skyrim intro is too out-of-character for you or ...

Re: Which game to you feel it is easiest to Roleplay in?
Daggerfall makes a very good case, but I'd still say Skyrim. That's because of the moddability.
The modding is always the sticking point for Elder Scrolls roleplaying, isn't it? I've always found it odd that people accuse Bethesda of being lazy and requiring the fans to finish the game for them ...

Karma systems are popularity contests. Specific people are favored for up and down votes and it always leads to drama in the end.

I think it's because the enemy does not look like he should be deadly that OP is getting upset. If you're wearing excellent armor with a strong weapon, a guy in rags and a dagger should not pose a major challenge. Now, were the enemy wearing stronger armor with a better weapon, this enemy might ...

It's stupidity on the mod designer's part to design a mod that was more challenging than hack-n-slash and with enemies and dungeons who need a little bit of strategy? Am I following this complaint right?

If you are able to, having it actively set is preferable so people can admire your costume.

In any case, here it is -- the laziest, most half-assed attempt at a COTM I've ever done, and that's saying a lot because I've never seriously attempted them.

Re: Legends NDA Lifted
Now that I'm free to say so, I have been wanting to say that, in addition to lore decisions being a bit strange at times and so disastrous that I can't stand the story elements to the game, the gameplay itself was quite boring and didn't feel particularly exciting or unique compared to other similar ...

I did not know that and it is a nice touch. Shame they didn't do the same or throw in a false Dragonborn in Skyrim. But oh well.

Re: The 'What You Did in Skyrim Today' Thread
I made my way to Sky Haven Temple at long last, after plenty of faffing about doing other random things. Considering the dragon threat is probably urgent, I should probably take things a bit more seriously and drink less mead at the tavern with Sofia and Lydia

Re: Next Major Announcemnt
Since Fallout 4's last DLC is out in a month apparently, I'm guessing, perhaps a bit on the soon side, that we'll see some sort of announcement in 2017.
Perhaps not an E3 '17 announcement necessarily, but a late-in-the-year tease of some sort that it's under development, with some amount of detail ...

Re: What is your usual method regarding the MQ/Civil War?
I'm not sure why the dragon is the focus of the poll, but I usually like to join the Stormcloaks and then betray them so I voted Empire. The peace talk system still confuses me though, I always try to give away as much as possible in order to prolong the civil war questline but the results vary ...

Actually, yea. You're right about the Nightingale armor, Damon. It's the coolest one in Skyrim and I can't believe I forgot all about it! I only like the fur armor. It's lightweight, warm, and completely reasonable in a climate like Skyrim's. All the others are hideous (except maybe Thieve's Guild leathers).
The generic Thieves Guild armor wasn't that great, IMO, not bad, just average looking. I loved the Nightingale Armor and feel ...
