Re: how bad are the gameplay in ps3?
It's like the other versions, until you get maybe 40+ hours in, then the game gradually becomes unplayable. It's honestly not worth buying on PS3 now, it's insulting.

I thought the Dwemer disappearance was obvious? Wasn't it explained in Morrowind to be something to do with the heart of Lorkan?

Re: Who loves the leveling system?
The leveling system, as in perks and health/magicka/stamina is fine. The leveled enemies, loot, and quest rewards, however, are complete garbage.
Seriously Bethesda, just get rid of scaling all together. All scaling does is hide poor game design. You can make it obvious when there's a high level ...

Re: Lvl 100 Smithers out there?
Well actually, if you're going to wear the complete set, it doesn't matter what you wear out of Daedric or Dragon: you will easily hit the armor cap. However, it is a bit of a waste of a perk.
But if you aren't wearing a matching set etc, for example wearing Otar's mask, you will probably want ...

You can rename your weapons when you enchant them OP.
I renamed my Skyforge Steel Battleaxe to the Skyforge Iceaxe when I added a frost enchantment.

Re: (((((( WEAPON DATA: 1h vs dual vs 2h + DPS, bleeding )))
I would presume that daggers are the best pure DPS simply because they can stack more enchantments at a faster rate.
I'm going Battleaxe for my first playthrough though, I may switch to Greatswords later, but I just feel it fits my character better.

Yeah these would be my choice:

Dunmer: +10 Destruction +5 One handed +5 Archery +5 light armor +5 sneak +5 alteration
Redguard: +10 one handed +5 light armor +5 block +5 Archery +5 smithing +5 lockpicking

Re: a few questions about end game viability of some skills/
Some personal advice I have is don't put any points into weapon specific perks (axes/maces/swords etc), just put them into general one hand perks. That way you don't have to commit to your weapon type until late in the game, at which point you will have a good idea which weapons have better ...

Re: Does Skyrim feel a little too easy to you?
I think with Skyrim it seems this way early on because there is such a huge difference between bandits and higher level stuff. I had it bumped up to Master and was wrecking Draugr etc, but then I went into a Vampire Lair and fought a dragon, both of which owned me, and I turned the difficulty back ...

Yeah sadly Bethesda didn't add nearly enough interface options in the game like widescreen/not widescreen, more readable fonts for SD TVs, not able to flip around third person, weird map movement etc. But the game is awesome so I forgive them. As Conzeq said, I imagine a mod will change this in the ...

Re: Never played kjhaiit on elder scrolls
Your race makes little difference at level 12. Keep in mind though, that Khajiit stat bonuses are designed for a stealth character. So take advantage of sneak attack criticals, poison, taking foes out from a distance etc. Honestly it sounds like you are either in too high a level area or you're just ...

I'd go dual wielding daggers, with a bow, and with light armor. Focus on Sneak, Enchantment, Illusion and Alchemy. Maybe Conjuration if you have perks left.

How do I stop 3rd person kill cams? And other PS3 Issues.
I've heard there's a way to turn the 3rd person animations off. Is this true? On Ps3. If so, where is it, I can't find it under settings or controls.
Secondly, just having some issues with the game. I'm playing on an SD tv, about ~30 inches or so, it works out okay. But the text is very difficult ...

Re: Skyrim quality, compared to Oblivion and Morrowind
It destroys Oblivion for all the right reasons: better art design, better voice acting, better animations, better world, better characters, better dungeons, better enemies, better combat, better leveling system, less scaling.

Re: Odd Racial Skill Boosts
Yeah this would be a shame if it's true. I mean, take Nords. They're supposed to be okay at restoration magic, good with both armor types, block, etc. But if you had given the Nord skills (in skyrim) to the Redguards, maybe swapping one handed to +10 instead of two handed, I wouldn't have been ...

Demon's Souls... was exactly that. Very frustrating. But once you mastered it it was a rewarding experience. One of the best games I have ever play.
Games like this are very unforgiving and make for a great challenge.

Combat wise, I use Long Blade and Heavy armor generally, sometimes using shields.
Outside combat, I use magic for everything from levitating to opening locks to teleporting, to restoring attributes etc.
However, when I play through my mage and thief characters in the future I may change my mind.

I've gone with Wood Elves. They look better in Skyrim, but in previous games they were thieving cowards with annoying voices. And there was Fargoth.

Most of Ocarina of Time had almost perfect dungeons. I remember the Forest Temple particularly fondly.
A good dungeon should have (ideally): its own unique music, a variation of big open caverns and claustrophobic spaces, interesting, unique puzzles, a good backstory, unique loot, some kind of boss ...
