I knew it could be done, because if you go out on youtube.com and look at all the Oblivion videos, lots of people are getting all sorts of good camera angles. Fun stuff.

I've been looking everywhere, but I can't find the instructions for altering your view in Vanity Mode. Searching at uesp wiki didn't turn up anything, though I thought I saw something out there once.

What I really want to do is change the camera angle on my character sideways as I'm running around ...

Just recently acquired the Umbra sword. It's really sweet, and I've started using it in most battles. I've used it on NPC's, even killed a few Leyawiin guards who were trying to kill Mazoga the Orc in the castle for some reason.

Sounds like we're actually talking about the speed drain caused by those yellow gases put out by Spiddal Sticks. Problem is, that's supposed to be a Drain effect (temporary-- very temporary in my experience), not a Damage effect ...

I over-wrote my older character's last savegame with my newer character just the other night. There is NO way to get it back.

Fortunately, I had copied my savegames to my jumpdrive that very morning. If I hadn't, that older character's previous savegame was something like 50 hours earlier. As it is ...

I ran into a problem like this when doing the Infiltration part of the Fighters Guild quest. The quest just wouldn't proceed!

The solution that worked for me was to quit Oblivion completely, then go back in and reload where I left off (or was it the latest Autosave??? Can't remember!).

Man, that's one uuuuuugly helmet! It clashes with any and every armor I can find. Yuck!!! :x But its constant-effect breathe-water enchantment is very cool, and its Detect Life, at only 20 feet range, much less so. I plan to wear it only in situations that need ...

It cost me $2, but I've found Frostcraig Spire to be a really worthwhile mod. Fully decked out, it's enhanced my gameplay a lot.

I'm still quite the noob, but here's what's been working for me recently:

1. "The Collector" quest. Those Ayleid statues are worth 500 gp each, plus 5000 gp for retrieving the 10th one. 10,000 gp total possible!
