Just recently acquired the Umbra sword. It's really sweet, and I've started using it in most battles. I've used it on NPC's, even killed a few Leyawiin guards who were trying to kill Mazoga the Orc in the castle for some reason.
The really odd thing is that my Black soul gems in inventory have gone from 3 to 15 at the last count. I've never even had that many Grand soul gems, let alone Black ones!
So what gives? Does Umbra actually make Black soul gems? If so, what inventory item is it converting into Blacks? Sometimes I get the message, "There isn't a suitable gem in your inventory to contain the is soul", other times I hack away through hordes of NPC's :twisted: and the Black soul gems just keep increasing!
I'm just trying to understand this strange pattern I'm seeing.

Yah i can see that being a glitch, considering that you can creat black soul gems useing soul trap and umbra has a soul trap enchantment. Its pretty wierd but mabey when you cast the soul trap with your sword and you have a grandsoul gem in your inventory it converts it into a black soul gemlike the process to creat it the stones exept without the whole shrine thing.
