shadow over Hackdirt

Hi,
I'm having some problems finishing Shadow over Hackdirt.
I've saved Dar-Ma and returned to Chorrol. Now, even though Dar-Ma is standing right in front of her mother, I cannot finish the quest.
I tried all the converstation topics but none finish the quest.

Should I return to Hackdirt? Have I skipped something?

Any help would be great,

Sometimes, not all possible conversation topics appear-- you have to scroll them down (happened to me last night at the end of the Unfriendly Competition quest, took me several attempts at conversation to figure it out).

I finished the Shadow Over Hackdirt quest some time ago, don't recall any problems or if scrolling was necessary. I also left all business finished in Hackdirt-- :twisted: I slaughtered them all !!! :twisted:

I tried srcolling, no new toppics appear.

update : today I went back to Hackdirt. All was calm, I could talk to the few remaining people without getting attacked. Then I returned to Chorrol and talked to the mother. The first thing she said was "I will never forget your brave rescue of my daughter". But still, the quest is not finished and I get that green arrow pointing to the mother...

You'll need to enter the quest ID to get it completed by the sounds of it- I would find it for you but i dont have the Construction set on my laptop! I'll do it when i get home though

How do you find the quest ID using the CS?

Easy peasy. Open up your CS and load Oblivion .esm then click on Character>Quests. This will show the quest window and you can search for the quest from there. TO get the stage id click on the quest stages bit! Then all you do is enter the quest ID(which is found by hovering over the editor ID) and the stage number and it'll set that stage

The code for the hackdirt quest to finish it off though is.....
setstage 00027815 100 - i think this should do it it'll test the DarMaRef to see if she's still alive and give you a quest stage accordingly which should be the "good-she's-still-alive!" stage!
