A short while back I picked up a copy of Skyrim on Steam during one of those sales, when I saw the "Legendary Edition" (all DLC) for about $30. I was skeptical; having come from the GTA series, Half-Life series, Portal series, and Fallout Series. I wasn't sure if a game that involved a medieval environment, dragons, and mystical creatures would appeal to me. On the other hand, many folks I've talked to like it, so there's got to be something redeeming about it, right? So, I decided to take a chance. Even if it turned out terrible, $30 wasn't going to break the bank.
It turned out I liked it a great deal. I played it extensively, even used mods (the lazy way via Nexus), and eventually even obtained a copy of Morrowind and Oblivion. I will not be playing ESO, but that's because the MMO concept is not compatible with the way I do things online. Not knocking those who do enjoy it; if you do and it makes you happy, more power to you!
I do not expect to post very much, if at all. However, I do idle in the chat. As I'm connected virtually 24/7, please do not be offended if occasionally I may not speak, as I do have my life to live and I remain connected the entire time. That does not mean I'm necessarily ignoring you.
