I didn't mean the city's architecture or layout - I meant story setup that we have and are forced to go with.

Everything is too small. I get that they can't make the distance between two cities 100 actual miles, because that would be just unplayable. But I'd love it if the biggest cities in the entire province had more than a dozen houses plus a handful of stores. It's kind of hard to believe that there's this whole huge civil war going on when the biggest city in Skyrim has less residents than my 4 story building...

Half the province is cowered in snow and there are no snowmen and no ones throwing snowballs and no kids out there playing etc.

That's what i call illogical.

Oh come on, isn't that obvious? If I saw a snowball flying towards me, I'd react just like I do when I see an Ice Spike. Skyrim children who play in the snow don't live long enough to teach those games to their own kids. Natural selection, baby.

The doors wouldn't have been blown open. If so, there would be damage to them.

Doors open and doors close, its their job. all they did this time was open quickly because he got blown through them.

the force of the blast was strong enough to throw him through it, then it reached the edge of its turny point and swung shut again? i dont think its too farfetched, happens on my doors.

also, could just be game mechanics, and that they didnt want to design a destroyed room.

I'm not saying it was Ayleids...but it was Ayleids.

Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

The House of Horror's quest. There's a few things that don't make sense to me.
Spoiler:
1) The Vigilant runs ahead, then stops at a door and tells me to try to open it. Why doesn't he try it himself?
2) I try to open the door and the Vigilant immediately gets frightened and runs away even before Molag Bal moves some items around the air.
3) If he's so scared, why does he want me to leave the house first?

The most illogical thing about this quest is the following, though:
4) I free Logrolf and tell him Molag Bal sent me. Back in the house, he acts all surprised when Molag Bal tells him that I'm his champion.

@CBR JGWRR:
I'm aware of that. That's why it's a logical inconsistency. It would have been no trouble at all for Bethesda to set a flag that checks which dialog option was chosen and he could have responded accordingly. Acting all surprised that I'm Molag Bal's champion despite the fact that I had told him that before, just doesn't make any sense. Bethesda's laziness is no excuse for that.
Ri'Zahr wrote:1) He does try to open the door, listen to his dialogue.
Unless I'm mistaken, he says "There's another door. See if you can get it open." Nothing that would indicate that he actually tried to open it himself.

I swear I remember him saying something along the lines of 'the door won't open, you give it a try.' :S

Well, they could already do that in Oblivion. Besides, who said TES horses had to be like real life horses? ;)

Didn't you know that the nine blessed the horses of Tamriel to make life easier? How do you think the Nords invaded Morrowind without being routed at what seems to be the only border exit from their side. ;)
