Re: Can Dragons Change Their Names?

-shrug- Some shifty looking feller handed me the deed and everything. I was very pleased.

Even Cruelty fits in that context, from a dragon point of view. The Way of the Voice is kind of harsh, and would curb a lot of freedom that dragons are used to. If he's forcibly bringing them into it, some may ...

Well, but which one will be lore? Or will there be some kind of break to make both possible lore-wise? Or will they be super vague about it?

Re: Can Dragons Change Their Names?

A brief sidestep on Paarthurnax: With his assistance in overthrowing his brother and his taking the reigns to convert (potentially forcibly) the other dragons to the way of the voice, could it be said that he is still in accordance with his name? That he hasn't really overcome his impulse to ...

Re: Things from Skyrim that will be fact/canon in TES VI

Despite the Civil War having 2 endings, there is something consistant in both: Elisef the Fair lives no matter what side wins (Only Tullius/Ulfric die). I assume the endings for each of the guild questlines happen no matter what, if only under different names (as it was in Oblivion, where the ...

The long-lived Nightingales mentioned were Dunmer(Dralsi and Karliah), specifically descended from Barenziah(Who has already been established as possessing of an obnoxiously long life even for her race).

Re: What race would/will you choose?

I'm going to start with Bosmer and Argonian, most likely. One to experience the new Aldmeri Dominion on the inside (and I've played Khajiit and Altmer before, so I'll try out Bosmer), and the other because I've never played an Argonian before and I want to see Black Marsh.

Re: The TESO wishlist thread!

That would be awesome. One of my favorite mods on Oblivion was one that added books that were character story submissions to the modder. It was parcelled in with some other thing...I don't quite remember what it was called.

I don't know if they already have this or not, but I'd like for the areas ...

Re: What do you want the death penalty in TES:O to be?

I am actually a fan of minimal death penalty. Some experience loss, and having to walk back to where I was from the spawn point. I don't enjoy the feeling of being punished for dying, when it is most likely due to circumstances beyond my control (Usually being PK'd or accidentally attracting the ...

Re: Elder Scrolls: Online; What will you do?

I will probably start out making 3 different characters, at least one for each alliance, and tinkering around with game mechanics to see what play style suits me best. If each of their stories are sufficiently different, I may make additional characters of different races to test story differences ...

If I am doing archery, give me a keyboard and mouse. I'm way more accurate with that setup. If I have melee weapons, give me the controller. I've never done a spellcaster, so that has yet to be determined.

The Throat of the World(Possible spoiler)

So I've just met Paarthurnax, and he's on a loop. From the point when I asked him to teach me dragonrend, he goes through the conversation about why I want it and why dragons don't know it, finishes up by saying he'll finally answer my question, and then loops back to the point where I asked about ...

Re: Do all nords go to sovngard?

I think that Sovngaard is reserved for those who fell courageously in battle, or maybe for those who proved themselves in battle regardless of how they died. But I don't think all of the other nords would get in just by virtue of being a nord. They would probably go to whatever the generic afterlife ...

Re: 1.6 Horse Combat

It seems that a certain amount of inaccuracy wouldn't be unreasonable, considering that swords are of limited length, so you'd have to be fairly close, and accuracy on horseback is never what it's crack up to be due to the motion of you and respective targets.

Re: Does it make sense, Lore wise, for a wounded Empire to..

I've yet to find 3 regular bandits standing over a dead Imperial patrol.

Keeping things in perspective, I've witnessed this twice.

But yes, I was under the impression that the Civil War ended in a stale-mate, although there were some who felt that the truce was cowardice and that the Empire ...

So, over the past couple of weeks, I've noticed a problem with interiors loading, or rather, with them loading in one piece. It started out that I'd walk into the Blue Palace everything past the first archway would be a distance away from where it should be, or the archway itself would be missing ...

So for some reason, certain clothing items on npcs get a bunch of little blue and clear squares all over them and their shadows have holes in them. Wolves are partially purple as well.
