I'm wondering if this is like the Armour stats glitch where you can be left with permanent attribute changes, while the armour itself has "vanished".

Yes. You should be able to download all third party game content with Silver, from what I understand. Gold membership is mainly to allow you to play interactively certain games.

Independent Thievery bug - what should happen?

I've got the bug that loads of other people have got where Independent Thievery doesn't update properly. I went right back to 300 gold, and made sure I never fenced more money than I needed to for each of Skrivva's quests, up to 500 gold and the final quest.

Since then I've tried everything to get ...

From my own experience, and from dozens of threads I've read, the Thieves Guild questline is extremely buggy, particularly regarding Independent Thievery and waiting for various characters to show up. I'm stuck at the 500/600 gold mark - I don't get the message I'm supposed to get at 600 fenced ...

Chorrol, because you have easy proximity to all the guilds (I find Skingrad and others less visually obvious) and you have two great shops:

1. Rasheda who has 1200 gold

2. Khaljiit shopkeeper who LOVES you (800 gold)

Plus I find that the priest is nearly always there in the chapel, which is ...

Maybe it's random?

Because I just did it, and I had no caverns, just a long but fairly open and straightforward path. There was a broken bridge near the start.

You know you really don't have to go for that long before money becomes boringly easy to obtain. Once you start getting decent quality weapons off bandits and in Oblivion gates, it takes barely any effort to become a millionnaire.

I recommend getting your Mercantile up so you can sell to anyone ...

I've been using the quest item the Honourblade of Chorrol. It's got a weight of zero because it's a quest item and it always seems to have a damage rating that's one higher than ebony swords. It's not magic so I can repair it myself. Also, and I didn't see this as a huge advantage until recently ...

I've done that. I'm a bit worried that some of the items I've included may be random Magic items, that I hadn't found before. But anyway someone else can give it an edit if they like, and add console codes.

I also put it into tables-by-item-type, as one long table was getting too long.

I'm ...

Mehrune's Razor items

Should these be put into Unique Items? Or into a separate table/page for plug-in only items?

I like the Chorrol one best, because you have two great merchants (one with 1200 gold, the other who looooooves you) right on your doorstep.

Bruma is very good value, and there are useful storage containers right as you step inside.

I don't remember ever having to find a key, except in the Kvatch one (which my memory is hazy on).

Perhaps it's just the Main Quest gates that require a key?

I have had to do complicated things with levers and stuff to open bridges.

Yep, mod them out. Simple. Agreed, that was a big mistake of Morrowind. Not disqualifying though. You can't say Oblivion is better because there's no cliffracers :)

I liked the Hackdirt one, but I wanted a bit more of an ending. I also wanted to find the "Deepest ones" (or was that what I found?)

I loved the Inside a Nightmare one - that was inspired. And very dreamlike.

The painting-theft one was also cool.

I bought the house in Anvil, and there's a desk upstairs that I put all the stuff I know I'll probably never need again, like keys that I used in a quest and I doubt I'll use again. I'm starting to organize my stuff there. Armor goes in one cupboard, weapons in another, ingredients that I can't ...

There's no one specific you have to kill, you can just run past them all and grab the stone (though you'll miss out on the chance of a lot of great loot if you do).

I keep all my stuff in barrels and cupboards. It's easier for me to scroll through and retrieve, and I figure the game doesn't have to remember the exact x/y/z positioning of every item.

Except books. They are "arranged" (if one can call it such) on my shelves.

Morrowind is amazing. Some points of difference:

Good

- very involved main quest, with a good sense of "prophecy" - you feel more special and integral to the plot
- very atmospheric, dark surroundings
- Levitation spell
- realistic transport system (boats, mage guide teleports, silt-striders ...

Whyohwhyohwhy didn't they put the key list in the inventory at the bottom? As far as I can tell, you never, ever have to access a key in your inventory. But you frequently want to access/pick up/store/drop tools.

It drives me insane scrolling down than damn list every time.
