I've got the bug that loads of other people have got where Independent Thievery doesn't update properly. I went right back to 300 gold, and made sure I never fenced more money than I needed to for each of Skrivva's quests, up to 500 gold and the final quest.
Since then I've tried everything to get it to activate. I can (sometimes) get my fenced gold total to display in the trading dialogue, but more often than not it doesn't. However when it's above 600, nothing happens. Some of the things I have tried:
- deselecting and reselecting Independent Thievery as my Active Quest
- fencing both with Independent Thievery activated and not activated
- raising to 600 gold before completing the final Skrivva quest
- only raising to 600 gold after completing the final Skrivva quest
- selling to different fences
- waiting in the waterfront
- going back and talking to Skrivva repeatedly
Anyone? Has anyone managed to get this thing to work after having problems? Am I right in assuming I'm supposed to be getting a quest pop-up window and update in my journal at 600 gold?
