"That's severely unspecific," Valeronicia said, frowning. "Beretta does not like that."

Re: The Ring of Fire
Alandier lamented that he had not had the Black Soul Gem when he had that Fighter's Guild tart with him. It would have been quite poetic for her to be his protector for eternity. Instead he had only the weak soul in the small gem Simande had given him. Sighing he went to the table and placed the small gem and his gloves onto the altar.
The Altmer proceeded to act as he had been taught, throwing in a bit of flair he had found made enchantments a bit stronger than they normally would have been. The energy from within the stone began to glow brightly, covering itself and the gloves in intense light. After onyl a moment the light suddenly fell in upon itself and the only thing left on the altar was the pair of gloves, now glowing slighty gold from the Resist Weapons enchantment. He picked them up and put them on, nodding his thanks to the steward.

Severio smiled, and began to follow the shapely barmaid towards his room. "It's a lovely place you got here." He noted as they walked.

Necromancers
Simande had been inspecting some jars along the wall, but then she turned her attention back on the others. "Do you mind if I have a go, too?" she asked.
Mercator extended his hand graciously towards the altar without saying a word. Simande began rummaging through her bag and extracted another soul gem. "I really like this dress, but I wouldn't mind if it were useful for more than fashion," she said to nobody in particular.
While Simande worked, Mercator and Andaril whispered to each other. The others could hear bits and pieces of the conversation. ... worse than ever ... take it off to enchant it ... never had much ... organizing ...

Fighters Guild
"It's getting dark outside. Is everybody ready to go?" Vitellus asked, looking around the room. "Where did Andronus go? And Galras and Severio? Why can't the group just stay together!" he muttered with frustration.

The West Weald Inn
"Thank you," the barmaid replied. "We work hard to maintain the inn."
She led Severio past an elegantly decorated landing, up a second flight of stairs, and down a hallway lined with heavy oak doors set in pointed arches. At the end of the hall, she pulled a ring of keys from her pocket and unlocked a door. "Here you are," she said with a smile. "There's another copy of the key inside the room. Let me know if there's anything else you need. There's a cord you can pull if you require room service."

Severio stepped inside and briefly examined the room, before turning back to her. "This room looks splendid." He replied ingratiatingly as he moved back towards the door. "And as do you my love."

The barmaid giggled and blushed. "Thank you," she said, and then she gave a quick curtsey. "I'd better get back downstairs to help serve the other patrons."

Re: The Ring of Fire
The bedroom was in a corner of the inn, and a long bay window stretched diagonally along the far side. A generously sized carved wooden bed dominated the center of the room, its blanket made of red satin with golden embroidery in the form of swirling vines. There was also a dresser, a dark wooden desk, two plain but well-made chairs, and next to the bay window, a door which led to the balcony that the barmaid had mentioned earlier. On the dresser there was a large silver bowl, two silver goblets, and a silver pitcher filled with water. In a corner of the room was a heavy red and gold silk cord with a thick tassel at the end, suspended through a hold in the vaulted ceiling.

Re: The Ring of Fire
Severio smiled at the woman's blushes. A small nagging voice in the back of his head was telling him that he had to get up early the next day, that he would have to find sleep before midnight and to just leave the young woman alone, but any doubts in his mind were extinguished when the barmaid gave a small curtsey, exposing even more breast.
"Do return to your patron's." He replied affably, keeping up the smile. He had completely forgotten about renting a room for both of his companion's "But you must get off eventually, the inn must close, I would like to see you when you are finished work, promise that you'll come find me."

The West Weald Inn
"Oh, that is sweet of you! But I work until the tavern downstairs closes for the night, and even then I need to wash dishes. There wouldn't be much we could do at that time of the night," the barmaid replied innocently.
=======================================================
The other side of town
Zandralia and Haaji arrived at a tall narrow house at the end of an alley. The Altmer knocked on the door, which was opened by a short, frazzled looking Breton woman. "What do you wa--wait, Zandralia? Is that really you? Oh, come in, come in!" the woman said, and she held the door open for the visitors.
"Corinne, this is Haaji, my companion," Zandralia said, hesitantly. She didn't want to embarrass the Khajiit by referring to any sort of servitude.
"Your ... companion? You mean, like..." Corinne asked, her face filled with shock. "Well, you know me, I don't judge," she said with a voice that said quite the opposite, and she eyed Haaji and Zandralia critically.
"Oh, no, not like that! I didn't mean, uhh," Zandralia said, fumbling for words. Her golden skin began to redden.

The barmaid shifted her weight and opened her mouth as if she were trying to think of what to say. Finally, she said, "I should go now before they wonder where I went," and hurried back down the hallway before Severio could respond.

Corinne Morin's house
Corinne pinched her lips together into what was probably meant to be a smile and absently said to Haaji, "Oh, is that right?" Then, not waiting for a response, she turned back to Zandralia. "So tell me what brings you to Skingrad! Can I get you some tea?"
"No, thank you, but maybe Haaji would want some," Zandralia said.

Valeronicia was completely ignoring Simande and the others, instead jumping at the opportunity to ramble at Tedrin.
Thus, she held up a book.
"This is Beretta. She keeps my notes on firebolts."

Severely disappointed Severio swore quietly to himself before turning to go back into his room, he hadn't even caught her name. 'I will have to find her again later.' He decided as he lay down on the large wooden bed.

Alandier approached Anadaril. "You know my services are always at your disposal," he said, raising an eyebrow towards Simande. "One Command spell and then an order to obey you should work out nicely." He tugged on his gloves, which seemed to have shrunk a little bit during the enchanting process.
