Okay, I can understand that. I have to give it a try though. I'm giving everyone ample opportunity to respond to debatable arguments and evidence. I prefer to stay optimistic believing that it will eventually happen.

It's all good. I'm a woman...apparently we rock at stubbornness. ;)

I think we can use this as a topic to talk about new information from both points of view and keep up the friendly discussion about what we think, and then review all the feelings after the release. I am not interested in shutting this thread down; I like it very much! But let's not run in circles at the beginning too much.

The hotbar in TESO is really just an easier favourite wheel from oblivion. They just cut the circle and stretched it, as far as im concerned. the combat is in the style of oblivion, when u hit keys to cast and combat is mouse based, they needed to include things like soft locking etc just to streamline the function of the game. In my opinion from everything ive read on their website and the ask us anythings they are keeping it as closely as they can and using things like leveling up specific weapon types/armor types to give people more freedom. Personally, i cannot wait for the game to come out. It is going to be awesome, the finese system looks so unique and you get better bonuses for using things at the right time and managing your resource pools. This is much better in my opinion. Anyone can break stuns, no one can get stun locked or CCd till the end of a fight, you have to be strategic in your decision making and team up and use complimenting abilities to be the best, not grind endlessly or get this item for your class or whatever, having multiple systems and getting them all to work together is very very hard and so far it seems like they are doing a great job and the game will be able to stand out on its own. You choose whats on your hotbar, you can have 1 class ability, 1 armor ability, 2 weapon abilities and a potion then an ultimate you will only get if you build up enough finese (if u play well u get more and they buff you for a while)

I'm looking forward to the game, it looks to make a great spin-off.

Within reason. Although, I personally cannot wait for TES of Duty - The Summerset Isle Gets Nuked! Suppose Bethesda could do a retcon to explain why Altmer are yellow.
The Fallout Scrolls? :-P
