some content may be missing...
I just moved and when I hooked up my xbox, when I try to play Skyrim, I get a warning that there may be missing content. Do I have to be online for the dlc to be recognized? I'm not yet online but I really didn't think I had to be. Has anyone else run into this? I tried unhooking and re attaching the hard drive and no dice. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You do have to be online so the game can verify that you have purchased it legally. At least that's what I recall from Oblivion.

I have the DLC as well and don't play while logged onto Xbox live, Is the DLC data you got from a friends memory card or something? If you got it of f the marketplace or whatever you should be fine.

I bought the dlc from gamestop, they give you a code on the receipt. Downloaded it at my old place, and now it prompts me that content may be missing. I'll check in a bit to see if it shows the add-ons on the main screen.

Explain how then, because I cannot play with any DLC content when I am offline.CBR JGWRR wrote:You can on Xbox 360...R'Zahr wrote:You cannot play DLC while offline.

I don't know, I bought them from the market place, went into the game loaded them like normal and when I went to play offline they just worked exactly the same.R'Zahr wrote:Explain how then, because I cannot play with any DLC content when I am offline.CBR JGWRR wrote:You can on Xbox 360...R'Zahr wrote:You cannot play DLC while offline.

Is your Xbox completely disconnected from the internet? Because when I try to play Dlc without any internet connection it will not work.CBR JGWRR wrote:I don't know, I bought them from the market place, went into the game loaded them like normal and when I went to play offline they just worked exactly the same.

Depends on whether I can be bothered to put the network cable in, if it isn't in, then completely offline.R'Zahr wrote:Is your Xbox completely disconnected from the internet?
