Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
My favorite Nirni continent is Akavir.
My favorite country in Tamriel is either Cyrodill or High Rock, mostly because I could most easily see myself living in those places. Everything else is too inhospitable.

Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

My favorite country? I guess Argonia or Hammerfell? There aren't many choices. It seems wrong to describe an Empire as a country, and I don't like the Aldmeri Dominion in the slightest. That leaves Argonia and Hammerfell as the only two truly independent nations (ignoring the events of Skyrim due to the true outcome being unclear). However, I assume that you truly mean province despite claims to the contrary.

Valenwood
I've never visited it in game, if you even can. But from what's said about it, it seems very mysterious and cool; It has a giant walking tree city!

I used to be an adventurer like you... then I got a real job... then I got made redundant... then I became an adventurer again... but now I just kill cats.

Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
I must say that as riveting as Akavir sounds, I still prefer Tamriel as a continent. As for which Province of the Septim Empire as of 3E 433 (what I generally see as 'Tamriel' - there different 'countries' and Kingdoms of the continent have not always been defined by the same boundaries, or by the same names - but I don't need to tell you that PilafPilaf The Defiler wrote:My favorite Nirni continent is Akavir.

As of 4E 201, I'd still have to be torn between whatever remains of Morrowind (a significant area in my mind) and the Aldmeri Dominion, which I would see as a united whole, considering I don't buy all the rubbish The Blades are trying to sell on how Valenwood is so desperate to be free from the tyrannical High Elves.

Valenwood is my favourite country but when it comes to continents I'd love to visit Pyandonea.

Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
I actually think they are called provinces, not countries.
But in topic I like Elsweyr best, and my fab continent would be Tamriel.

Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
You make a good point, they were provinces of the Septim Empire during the timelines of the first four titles, however, I don't think it's entirely accurate to call them provinces now that most of them have seceded and become their own nations. Really, I'm not entirely sure what to refer them to, kingdoms?

Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
It's hard to say, since I haven't been everywhere in Tamriel. Terrain-wise, I would have to say Skyrim because it feels like home. I would like to see Valenwood and Elsweyr, though.

Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
Favorite country of mine is High Rock. Daggerfall was such an amazing place, man. I'd love to have a modern game take place there.
Skyrim's a close second, and Cyrodiil's a close third.

Re: Favorite Tamriel continent
If i were to pick a favourite continent , it would still be Tamriel , as we barely know anything about the other ones , so i cant like an Undetailed blob on the horizon more than a work of art in the here and now
but the continent i would have most liked to visit would have been Yokuda , unfortunatley it sank into the ocean , and now we are stuck with boring old Akavir

Re: Favorite Tamriel province
Elsweyr would be fun, especially if it was a TES game with both Elsweyr AND Valnwood seeing as according to the map of Tamriel both regions would roughly equal the size of Skyrim in landmass. And if the Khajiiti-Bosmerii war was rekindled my goodness it would be far mor epic than just a civil war seeing as two Seperate countries would be EACHOTHER rather than The empire vs an internal rebellion!
Sprawling cities in the middle of a Savannah with the occasional oasis and ancient ruin and a network of burrowed tunnels, jungles as far as the eye could see, a canopy above hundred foot tall trees that conceals the sun except for the occasional ray here and there... cities that are built upon living, migrating trees with celebrations daily and elevators that help you travel. And a potential war on the border with the Khajiit and Bosmer facing it off with arrow barrages coming from fortifications above a line of Bosmer infantry and massive battlecats rushing the flanks of the fortifications in an attempt to tear them down with the main Khajiit ranks facing the infantry in claw to sword combat!!! *passes out from excitement*
^ best option for Bethesda kthnxbai. ^
EDIT: Oh and for my favorite that I've been too, well.... Hammerfall/High Rock were great and the Daggerfall game itself was very deep but If I were to choose a place to live I would pick Cyrodiil as it had the most varied scenery as I mentioned in a post a while back.
