Angry about Dawnguard?

So I just found out that Dawnguard has been released for PC which leaves us PS3 users haunted by the fact that we are missing out on all the fun. According to the main page PS3 has to wait because of performance issues. What performance issues? How long do we have to wait? Is anybody else confused and angry? What are your thoughts?

So its not just about being mad, you can also give your thoughts about how wer are not mad at Beth, and what we feel about it in genreal etc.

Ive said it once and Ill say it again. Bethesda simply does not give a hoot about PS3 users. If they did why would they agree to release their DLC exclusively to XBOX?? (wait for it....) Nope your all wrong. Money is the answer. But alas I ask you all if XBOX is giving Bethesda ample amounts of coin for exclusive DLC content, how much are the giving?? Surly not as much as they would make off of selling said DLC to PS3 and PC users combined....Or are they..?? If not then my first statement would be truer that Akatosh himself.

This has nothing to do with beth's feelings to their pepole. even if they did not "care" and they only want money, they would get more by giving you the DLC, your idea makes no sense.

the PC has goten DLC's first before, and even gets stuff that console usesr did not get, its not a first time doing this, but now its chnaged and so its "wrong"

In fact, for all we know they may do it for ps3 next game (or ps4 as it may be)

Meh, reading through this just reminds me why I will never go back to the PS3, but then when they said if I wanted to play PS2 games I should "buy a ps2" when speaking about the backward compatibility removal... pretty much put me off sony right there lol

I got Dawn guard when first came out though and have yet to start the thing... Hearthfire set it back even more! =O

The fact is while Xbox seems to get progressively better Sony make the PS3 even worse! people can cover their eyes and say "its the games not the PS3" all they want but it can not handle the games the Xbox does, the graphics ARE worse due to the rough edges on PS3 (FIFA was a shining example, I watched my brother play with envy) and the marketplace is subpar in comparison to 360... the one thing I bought one for over the old Xbox was because I had a ton of PS2 games I didnt want to collect dust. that jerk saying "buy a PS2" just made me think... "no... think I will buy an Xbox like the rest of the world mate"

The PS3 has better graphics and lasts longer. But it also has something crazy called a "cell processor", that is super hard to code for. It can also give HUGE, game play improvements, if you spend forever on the coding, If Skyrim was coded for a ps3 format, it would be great without patches, on the ps3. It has nothing to do with RAM, if you spend a while longer coding, but that would take a while. Also the much larger Xbox base would explode. You think you see flames now, if it was a Playstation 3 game, that would surely not work on the Xbox 360, there would be fire tornadoes. If Bethesda wanted a multi-plateformer to work, they would need way more experienced programmer to truly use the cell correctly, which is very, very, very expensive.

I belive pepole when they know what they are talking about and have a reasson for knowing whats wrong, like beth, and others.

Thats the thing though, game developers don't have forever on major release titles like Skyrim. Even then they can't spend to long on DLCs or the base game will age to fast and players will move on and the devs get no more money.

I was just stating a fact. I do to care more about gameplay, so if you are going to be mean over the internet and do something that you wouldn't do in person, then don't do it, okay? And I agree with Wolfie that we should just drop it so know one that can't take facts against their console doesn't get their feeling hurt.

And as for the "I care more about gameplay than graphics" well Xbox has better gameplay as well! we get DLC (like DG!), amazing marketplace content (Doritos Crash Course) and better framerates! (Fallout does not stutter ever 5 steps)

absolutely no logical reason what so ever to own a PS3 at this point.
