Except if you ever had children, it would be pretty weird for them.

I could see the altmer female farmers having children they would be half nords but it would still be plausible. Can you actually move your children to houses you build?

So only housecarls can be stewards? One of my characters has no housecarls as they both died under mysterious circumstances.

Who else is sick of the building tables resetting? I mean I already built that crap.
I would be a procrastinator, but I keep putting it off.

I usually prefer to just ask her to buy supplies for me since my main character has like a million septims. He's been slaying Dragons for a thousand hours or so. He can afford the luxuries his adventuring career has afforded him.

Can they buy all supplies? Because I can see it being a pain in the ass to go and back forth collecting supplies.

Lavender Dumpling: While looking for safe vegtables and plants to put in my garden for my children I was looking at some recipies. I get the fondue becuase the cats are all drugged out anyway but why would you cook with moon sugar any other time?

So, how easily moddable does Hearthfire seem to all of you guys, at least at this point? Does it look like it would be simple to add house sections, plans, and furniture? Or does it seem relatively difficult? It would be nice to be able to build any sort of house you wanted. Maybe a mott-and bailey castle, or a shack with an underground fortress or something. Can't wait for the PC release.

I havn't gotten any letters or notes ref buying land or adopting. I did in another character but that was just to see if I had to have no house before I could get one. But unfortunately in my main character there was no note for adoption....Soooooo I had to go to Rorikstead....and cut Lemkils throat and make orphans of his kids.....Immoral...perhaps...Illegal...definately! Worth it? meh..we'll see.... ;)

that's what i am trying to figure out. So far i was only able to move the kids i adopted into my house in Whiterun....But only after i changed the alchemy lab into a children's bedroom. I have built 2 houses now and furnished both with Children's beds and cannot move my kids to them. When i go back to the house in Whiterun my wife tells me that the house is great but is to small for children. I get the option to move but cant move the kids or wife to either of the new houses i built.

On a side note i am also having problems with not being able to furnish one of my rooms in both houses due to my Steward telling me "im sorry but you cannot afford this at this time" when i have 450k gold lol But right after i can have him by me a Bard...lol

My house is coming alone nicely, but all the weight I'm carry around must give my character his own gravity.
