Anybody else think the Thalmor in Skyrim are technically special agents to the Thalmor government and thus probably do their work with more zealotry than common Thalmor grunts back in Alinor?
That said, I don't hate the rest of the high elf race the same as I hate the Thalmor agents, I don't even hate Thalmor grunts that much neither.

There is an infinite number of alternate universes, which means all books are non-fiction.

Re: Opinions On Altmer
I wouldn't consider them special agents, but I would imagine that they would be veterans or at least some of the most devoted members of the Thalmor. Can't have open-minded types potentially doubting their fanaticism after coming into contact with outside ideas.
I don't think, though, that you're really going to see Thalmor grunts, as I'd imagine that the Thalmor as a whole are fairly specialized and the common soldier of the Aldmeri Dominion wouldn't necessarily be considered one.

Three words: High Chancellor Ocato
Good, good man.
Good, good man.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

I wouldn't be so certain. The majority of Altmer NPCs we meet in the games up until and including Skyrim are friendly enough.
A Legate for the Legions who happens to be Altmer even says the Thalmor slaughtered some Altmer dissenters in Hammerfell for speaking out against the current government of Alinor. It's not an Altmer thing to be a massive [censored] bag. You get those from every race.
For every Mannimarco or Ancano you get a Sinderion or an Ocato.

I never meet friendly altmer, just douchbag thalmor, or if it's Oblivion I have to bribe altmer NPC's to like me, though playing a nord all the time probably doesn't help too muchPilaf The Defiler wrote:derp53 wrote:I think he was a notable exception Pilaf.....Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Three words: High Chancellor Ocato
