What's after Gaurdian?
I noticed that weka has the highest post count, she is the top poster.
Well weka's a Gaurdian yet she only has 3 and a half coins. So...
What comes after Gaurdian? (4 coins)
What comes after that? (4.5 coins)
And what's the final rank? (5 full coins)
Just curious.

Cactus are you tellin me that I got boring long ago??!!
This thread made me chk my post count, and, well .....
....def time for the post counts to be removed pls??!!! It took me a long time to even realise that it was there. I just never really looked at the left col, so kept wondering how people knew how many posts they'd made.....

Why would you want to remove your post count? ?_? I can only see being the top-poster as a good thing.weka wrote:Cactus are you tellin me that I got boring long ago??!!

Why and how?!! I've never really taken any notice of post counts anyhow, I don't see them as being relevant. It's the quality of people's replies and the way they treat others that I find relevant.
But really, having that many posts?! I honestly just find it embarrassing. What a gossip I must be!! Cause I know that I really haven't helped that many people!
Maybe it’s cause in "real life" I don’t tend to talk v. much really. In which case, I guess it must be the fault of you lot!! uesp has turned me into a chatterbox!!!

Are you kidding?!! You're the most helpful person on the forums!!! Seriously!!!weka wrote: But really, having that many posts?! I honestly just find it embarrassing. What a gossip I must be!! Cause I know that I really haven't helped that many people!
Heh, me too. I'm usually pretty active on forums, but I don't have a lot to say IRL.weka wrote:Maybe it’s cause in "real life" I don’t tend to talk v. much really. In which case, I guess it must be the fault of you lot!! uesp has turned me into a chatterbox!!!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the moderators have the power to lower postcounts. If you can't stand being the top poster, then maybe you could ask one to lower it?

Really? It says it in the FAQ, right here. I guess it doesn't matter though.codex wrote:Unfortunatly, we don't. Changing post count require admin rights.
That is done by deleting Post Flooding Replies. What is meant, is that if someone tries to increase thier Post Count, to get the next, or higher Forum Ranking, that the Moderators can (and probably will) delet those replies/comments, thus lowering the members post count. Deleting replies/comments lowers the memebers post count, as those posts no longer exist. Please do not abuse the board by posting unnecessarily just to increase your rank -- you will probably find the moderator or administrator will simply lower your post count.
It would take alot of deleting to lower a post count from 3500, to 1000. I doubt any of the mods would be willing to take the time. Not to mention that it would also make alot of topics look funny with missing replies. Especially bad if those replies have good info.

Actually, a mod could do it.Please do not abuse the board by posting unnecessarily just to increase your rank -- you will probably find the moderator or administrator will simply lower your post count
their are some boards I'm on where you can.
but the Admin has to set the permission in the settings for a mod to do it.
