Well skyrim magic isnt as interesting as it was in previous games because of the lack of effects...... But i would also like to learn about alinors peasant class and their warriors.

I'd say its not that it isnt interesting , its that its awfully weak in Skyrim ..
on Oblivion you could obliterate everything in the game with overpowered magic , this was a bad thing which unbalanced the game

and so to fix it , they made magic insanely weak in skyrim ? i tried playing as a mage character , but it was impossible , all my spells are pathetic , i even did a test between incinerate and firebolt , both seemed to do an equal amount of damage to the guard i tested them on ... i wish they would balance melee and magic , it would be really great

Balance? In a single player game that is all about choices? Lol no one forces you to make over powered spells. And that firebolt and incinerate thing is probably unique to you because on my mage characters incinerate does way more damage. Sorry your game is messed up but it isnt on everyone's  . Also you dont need to be a destruction mage, my bosmer druid character solely uses alteration, illusion and a really powerful "flames" spell that does 31 damage a second. Because i have two improved flames perks and the fear perk in illusion that boosts fire spells even more. But more often than not she paralyzes and bashes them with her mace.

I think Restoration was done pretty well in Skyrim , Alteration was ok but i couldnt find much use for it ,even Paralyze , Illusion i found almost completly useless to me as i needed to focus too many perks into it to make it effective , so i abandoned it , I never use conjuration because it simply isnt useful to me , i dont need to conjure anything because companions and helpers always seem to get in my way (ESPECIALLY when i use anything ranged !!!!!!)
so that left Restoration , which i mastered and invested in , and Destruction , which i focused on and Backed with enchanting

in the end , in order to make my Destruction magic useable (because even with perks , Powerfull spells take a ton of Magicka ) i made a super ring called ''the Fury of Magnus'' that give 84% Lowered destruction magic cost , and i now use Incinerate as my main attack spell , it now only costs as much as a regular Fireball :)

Well im glad it worked out in the end. ALteration for me is my "bread and butter" for my druid. Just because she cant take any hits and needs to know what is around her it is really useful. And Telekinesis has helped me with those booby trapped draugr pedestals. And it helped me get through labyrinthian fireball traps. I think it is a school you have to adapt to your playstyle.

Illusion is arguably the most powerful school in the game if used properly.

Restoration got some neat perks from Dawnguard (not true perks but new spells) i also miss the absorb spells.

Conjuration was nice since it has true necromancy and now undead summons.

Destruction is pretty straight forward but i miss the drain spells and weakness spells.
