ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR

Post by stalker17 »

History: Dragonborn, and all the good dragons take control of the Empire and leave Skyrim and drive the Aldmeri Dominion out of Skyrim and Cyrodiil. Dragonborn, now the new Emperor leaves the Stormcloaks to control Skyrim and focuses on a war against the Aldmeri.

Story: You and many others are captured by Thalmor Agents in Valenwood because they think you are Blades. On a boat to Alinor, waves crash the boat on rocks and a mysterious sorcerer-
Spoiler:
Mannimarco, Lord of Worms
-Kills all of the Thalmor and raises them from the dead as Risen, undead beasts. But after he kills you and raises you from the dead, you are ressurected, but you do not change into risen. He leaves, leaving you and a still alive prisoner to escape. You must save Alinor, before it is the whole of Tamriel instead!

Do you like my story?

What's with Mannimarco? he died in Oblivion. He ain't coming back. Let's have a new even more dastardly bad guy.
But Dovahkiin leading the Empire is an interesting thought, as all of the Septims were Dragonborn. That would make sense. And of course you would be fighting the Thalmor, as they are trying to overthrow the Empire and they are complete jerks.
In your story, it sounds like Dovahkiin sided with the Empire in the Skyrim civil war, so there wouldn't be any Stormcloaks. It would either be the Dragonborn rebuilds the Empire to fight the Thalmor, or the Empire crumbles and The Thalmor are fighting the independent provinces.
Oh and you say you were captured from Valenwood and sent to Alinor, what would the setting be? Just Alinor or both?

Dragonborn leaves Skyrim and takes the Empire and lots of dragons with him. It would probably just be Summerset. And Mannimarco is either still alive or another necromancer has taken on his mantle.

Oh, so a new King of Worms. How would he be related to the Thalmor and any events? Why and/or how did he become the new King of Worms?

The necromancers always need a new King of Worms, and since Summerset is a land full of magic, they have returned to destroy their ancient enemies land.

Ok, so the Necromancers and Thalmor have a history? That would be interesting, then the third party of the Empire or something to really mix it up.

And Blade agents investigating Thalmor activity. Esbern and Delphine rebuilt the Blades after the Dragonborn took over the Empire. Dragonborn could just claim the throne instantly because the last emperor is dead. Dark Brotherhood killed him.

Right, but you shouldn't be in the Blades. Already done that in Oblivion, again in Skyrim. What if you were a new hero like the Nerevarine, kinda neutral but ends up kicking ass all around. So there would be utter chaos, a many sided Tamrielic civil war! Exciting!

That's what I was I thinking. But I think the Blades could be a joinable guild. Like you help a Blade escape from jail and you can join the Blades and investigate Thalmor. But mainly your a hero who must stop the necromancers from destroying Alinor, no matter how much you hate the Thalmor. Because if Mannimarco wins, Tamriel will be next.

This my idea for part of the high elven song.
"Our dark brothers have fallen from the lost Red Mountain,
And the Nords have reclaimed with the great Dovahkiin."

And how bout an evil side, where you join the Necromancers, but of course you have an ulterior motive-become the NEW king of worms and vanquish all!
Then the Psijic Order would be up to something. I'm not sure if they support the Thalmor or what, though.

I like being neutral better but good idea. I was thinking in the end you trap Mannimarcos soul in a giant soul gem in the crystal tower.

Interesting, and you need his soul for something, like if you're evil to become the new King of Worms or to stop the Risen plague and maybe stop the Thalmor?
And what would the Risen be? Like the Ash creatures from Morrowind? I get their the Necromancer's reanimated dead enemies. And would there be different kinds of risen, like different powered ones?

Kind of like Draugr but in clothes and armor of whoever got turned. And magical people would become Risen Mage. And Risen Thalmor would be Risen Thalmor Soldier. If someone dies Mannimarco can ressurect them as Risen.

Yeah, but there's gotta be more variety. Like Risen creatures, forming together to make chimera-like undead. And Risen people to be like the lowly standard ones, then they get more grotesque and evil-looking as they get more powerful, like Deadra and Ash creatures do.

Yeah Risen mutate sometimes into beasts. What about Risen animals. Like Risen Cliff Racers and Wolves.

No cliff racers..i want to forget those.. but what if some risen were half undead half autamaton? Getting a mutated risen mixed with a dwemer centurion would be pretty terrifying.
I dunno if you've ever played Warhammer, but these ideas are making me think of the Skaven clans haha.

Yeah reminds me of Skaven too. Risen Centurion. What if the Risen have there soul corrupted. Centurions have soul gems inside. If that gets corrupted they will turn.

Only Centurions in Skyrim have soul gems, the Dwemer constructs in other places operate differently. But the corrupted soul thing is a good idea, like that's how they maintain their power. Killing and soul trapping enemies adds to their power. Their soul gets corrupted upon becoming risen, and they maintain life force by absorbing more souls.
