Technology
People still use guns but they are stronger. People still drive cars but they are faster. There aren't any laser guns or jetpacks. Humans haven't been able to make faster than light travel or colonise other worlds. Many humans have augmented themselves with Cybertech. Cybertech is much like what you would see in Deus Ex or Ghost in the Shell. The first piece of modern Cybertech was made available in 2022, an artificial pancreas. Technology has marched on since then. All kinds of cybertech is available. Some people even have fully prosthetic bodies, they are a human brain in a robotic body. For some ideas on Cybertech there are artificial organs, built in internet connection and communicator (which is one of the most common), artificial limbs, eyes that can see in night vision, infrared or thermal vision, hidden wrist blades, guns hidden in people's arms, increased reflexes and countless more. How many augmentations you can have and how good they will be would depend on your cybertech skill. A 0 would have no cybertech, a 1 would probably only have an internet connection and communicator while at the other end of the spectrum a 5 would be a full cyborg. This has also allowed for full brain transplants however body thefts are now possible as a result. While this technology has made life easier in many ways humans still face the same problems they always have. Almost all cyborg bodies and augmentations look human . If somebody wished for themselves to look like a robot they could ask for that.

2=College degree
3=Masters degree
4=Doctorate
5=One of the best in the field.
While this doesn't fit for every skill it explains the kind of skill your would have with each level.
Traits
I Call It Vera= You have very favourite weapon. I could be your father's old hunting rifle, a katana or even a trusty baseball bat. List it in possessions and talk about it in backround. You find you do better using this weapon but far worse using any other.
Good Looking= You are considered to a beautiful person. This can be useful to gain attention to yourself or to try seducing people. The downside is you stick out and are easy to notice, people will remember seeing you.
Giant=You are huge. This can help you in fights or intimidating people. However you stand out, people notice and remember you. It is very hard to remain unseen.
Rich= You have a lot of money. You also have the option of having a fancy apartment on the top floor of the building. While you have lots of cash the less well off in society will hate you for this. You may also find that criminals target you.
Mister Nice Guy= While you have a hard time fighting, committing crimes or intimidating people you will find most people like you more due to your kind nature.
Small Frame= Due to your small frame you can move faster but find yourself hurt easier and it is hard to intimidate people.
Thug= You are a known criminal. You find you are better at committing crimes but generally people don't like you.
Night Person= You are a real night owl. When the suns goes down you come out. You work better during the night but worse during the daytime.
Early Riser= You always get up early. You work better during the daytime but worse at night.
Claustrophobic= You hate being stuck inside. Outside is where everything happens. You will find you work far better outside than inside.
Agoraphobic= Outside? In this day and age? Yeah, right! You will find you work far better inside than outside.
You probably know how it works. Pick 0, 1 or 2 traits. All traits do something good and something bad.
