I don't know then sorry- wait what quest line did you do?
Maybe the Vampire Lord one is different from the Dawnguard?
Or if all else fails just look it up on the internet.
On another note- has anyone used the other arrows from the Knight-Paladin, you know the ones that do the sunburst?
Are they actually any good?
Spoiler:
I chose VL for one character, thats the only one i've finished so far. And those arrows are pretty fun to use. I dont like how they glow though.
the sunburst arrows are helpful when fighting harkon because when you get his health down to certain point he'll hide next his blood fountain and put barrier up while he recovers, the sunburst arrows dispel those barriers

I did the Dawnguard side so I'm well and truly stumped.
What do the arrows actually do though when you shoot them at the sun?- I may use them but I don't want to gamble on something that's random.
hey fellas ,i have a question about this Dawnguard , is it worth it for me to buy ? does it add a decent amount of stuff for me to do ? (im not hard to please )

well it's pretty good with the content it adds, and it's not too hard to get, the only thing that might PO you would be the associated bugs and glitches

After completing Dawnguard how to do you go about getting rid of vampirism? the uesp page suggests going to a innkeeper but that doesn't seem to work. Already a bit sick of the lack of stamina and other disadvantages.

Actually, unless they need to add voice acting (if they use one the old actors for her voice they don't), it only comes down to changing one number from a "0" to a "1".

Exactly
Which would mean they would have to add a updated version of the file to a patch, which would mean everyone would get the updated file in the patch, which would mean non-Dawnguard owning people would get getting Dawnguard files in a patch.
You cant give people content they haven't payed for.
So where is my dream? It is the continuation of reality. But where is my reality? It is at the end of your dream.
I think everyone is used to bugs in Bethesda games.
Also, it is very possible to patch this DLC. As it has been said before, just patch Xbox and just include the patch in the realese for PC and PS3.

If it was the PC, it would be different, but for the Xbox users who don't have Dawnguard, Serana isn't going to actually be in the game, regardless of whether or not she's in the files.
Besides, we already know there's a way to target only those with DLC.

Couldn't they just lock the coding off and away and have it only function in the presence of some 'key' or whatever? I honestly see that excuse for no dlc patching as fairly poor.

No.
Its a matter of giving someone content they havent paid for. You CAN'T do that. There's no getting around it period.

Agreed, 1.6 and any dlc related files received through it as a point in favor of handing out files.

It really seems like there's more to it than "free content". Considering how other patches are handed out for the base game I think the "free content" statement is a thin veil.
Who thinks the DLC should've added something that could reset your perks so you can spend them in different places? I wish they did because my main character is stuck with useless perks that i dont use. Ex:
Spoiler:
Speech: Investor... Infact that ENTIRE skill tree is useless because i own that Amulet from the TG questline.
I also have ZERO perks in lockpicking so i get really annoyed when i cant open doors, chests, etc.

While I personally do wish they'd have some sort of perk reset (some perks just don't interact as their individual listings suggest)...
Spoiler:
I don't get why you list the TG amulet as an effective replacement for adding 1500g onto almost any vendor or selling anything to anyone.
That aside there are times I do wish I could swap out perks

Maybe if someone bothers Beth enough about it they may include it in the next DLC.
Spoiler:
I dont really put money into venders that i might kill or might get killed the next day anyway. I was talking about the other half of the tree when i mentioned the amulet.
