Fellow gamer? You mean the one that waltzes in like he's the [&@%!] Sultan of Brunei who doesn't care to keep our forum "clean" and has zero respect for the mod team?Yes,I suddenly got an apologetic vibe.......Oh,wait,it's just my bladder.

Anyway, the issue has been resolved so there's no need to talk about this anymore.

our answers have been relevant and useful imo and also have all been made in good faith even tho the original post sounds a bit like one of those "i'm brilliant at this game cos it's so crap" sort of posts which on other fan based forums would get shot down within a page and the troll roasted over coals

we are more civilised and patient here, i hope the OP realises this

have you ever played Demon Souls Jaime? Your issue could just be a matter of taste

I think this thread might have run its course

You'll care soon enough.
I don't have time to keep your forum pretty.I'm in a rush.
Oh yes,we all give a [&@%!].
It's my thread, anyway. If you don't like the mess, go away.
This is a community and as such it has rules. If you don't abide by them then you will leave, jack'''s.
[&@%!] off and stop spamming my thread. If you don't like my post style, don't converse me. I'm one of few people who actually take the time to reply to nearly every post directed at them. It takes long enopugh as it is, without having to copy and paste a thousand times trying to get all of it into a single post. And then when I do, it will be so long that it will look too daunting for anyone to be bothered tackling anyway.

If any mod has problem with my diligence in actually replying to people's posts, they can PM me personally and get their ear full.

This is the part where people spam my thread with half a dozen off topic posts and then try to blame it all one me and tell me I'm breaking the rules and have problems./ I've seen it all before., Go away. I have no attitude problem with those here who are actually trying to talk about proper topic.

No. It's time to talk about spamming, I think.

Don't talk like that. You think I'm paying off on Elder Scrolls? Do you have any idea how many hours I spent playing Oblivion? It is well over a several hundred, I'd dare say. I like the game and I take my time. But I really got [&@%!] here because it seems just too easy.

Like I said, if you read the OP, the game is not so easy because I'm too good. I'm NOT doing everything right. Like I said, I don't enchant my weapons, don't spike them with poisons, don't use decent armor (using Ancient Nord), don't need to buy or make potions, didn't start with the right race for my playstyle (heavy armor and one handed for a nord is not right - they are made for light armor and two handed). And with that you'd think the game would be hard. But i just run around and whack everyone a couple times with my sword and they're dead. I realized the only reason I even need restoration is to help me level up, because I only use it AFTER the fight!

I dunno. If you guys think this is not a serious problem in the game, then that's up to you. The obvious reason this happens is because mages and thieves are less powerful than warriors, so the difficulty is designed to be more encompassing for all play styles. But this does not excuse it. It really is a lack of input on the creators behalf.

Other people here have suggested intentionally "gimping" myself. Other people are talking about mods that reduce the effectivness of smithing and thus your weapons and armor - people would not be saying this if they did not agree with me in one way or another.

And this right here is why your [&@%!] people off.

You say the game is easy. Ok, that's all well and good. You've given valid reasons, and some people are offering alternatives to make it more challenging for you.

But showing no respect at all to anyone else in the forum, just makes you a dick bro. And this isn't about you replying to peoples posts. It's about you basically saying that you don't give a [&@%!] about the rules here, and then when someone tries to remind you of them, you tell them to [&@%!] off?

How bout no.

You [&@%!] off.

Guys. I'm gonna lock this thread since it seems to have become little more than a place to trade jabs. Feel free to PM a mod if you want us to reconsider opening it.
