Re: Hidden Shout audios for Paarthurnax and Alduin
Dragons don't shout like that! Unrealistic. Dragons don---dragons...don't exist. Unrealistic. Oh no...this entire game is entirely off the charts when it comes to realism. I entered all the necessary data in SPSS and elves do not exist in our reality. This is too unrealistic, guys and girls.
I'm kidding, I know what you mean VirtualWeasel, as far as their clarity. I think they sound just fine, but I can see how the crisp shouts inserted into the game without the editing used for the original shouts would sound...off.

Re: Hidden Shout audios for Paarthurnax and Alduin
Ok, I've got all the Alduin ones done.
...working on the P-Naxy ones now.
They'll be up soon, hang in there....
And VirtualWeasel, get some good bass-boosting headphones or a decent speaker system.
The "boom" that comes when the dragon roars "TOR...SHUL!" is, like I said before, mythic.
I can understand if you don't have good H-phones or speakers, they sound mediocre.

Re: Hidden Shout audios for Paarthurnax and Alduin
Well, I mean if some one were in a rush to shout they wouldn't clearly pronounce it. It seems more realistic to go "Yol... tshol!" instead of "Yol... Tor... Shol!"Argonanza wrote:Lore states that they use magic to articulate without lips. They also use magic to fly. So, no, not unrealistic.VirtualWeasel wrote:Well I just think the fact that it's said so clearly is so... Unrealistic. And it's not much of an "earthquake" as you described it.
I guess I don't really picture dragons as sounding so "human."

It's weird the Shout works at all when he swallows half of it, to be honest.

Speaking of shouts, I never played with a female Dragonborn... My females tends to ignore the MQ...
The sound of the shouts are different for them? Damn lazy if they aren't...

Yes they are different for females.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Paarthurnax's shouts are done, now for the final "genericdragon"
Once I get these done, how can I put them up here on uesp forums? They are all .WAV's.

Talk to the wiki people about it in the Shouts talk page that you found unused shouts. They should be able to help you from there.
it is a mystery

I've been through earthquakes (yes, often enough to actually mistake one for a bad hangover) and that sounded nothing like an earthquake.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

You can put them in a .rar file using WinRar and them upload them to, say, MediaFire. If you post the link here we can download it and listen to them.

Re: Hidden Shout audios for Paarthurnax and Alduin
Ok, I'll do that pronto.
Darkspark, what the F is wrong with you, hmm? No shout in the whole game even comes close to the epicness of these shouts.
The only possible reason you'd think these shouts are not-epic, is if you took an arrow to the ear.

No. He's simply never been through an earthquake.
The aftereffect of Alduin's Unrelenting Force shout sounds like a thunderclap. Just a bigger one than that of the player's.

Thanks for waiting, soda...lol.
Yes, I've got them done, I'll be putting them into .rar's and uploading them to Oron or any other fileshare site...if I can.
Please forgive the delay - I do do other work during the day besides Skyrimming

Why is he even making such a big deal out of them and being so protective of them?

Re: Hidden Shout audios for Paarthurnax and Alduin
This might be a little late, but if you can listen to them in the CK, why not just bring up the windows sound recorder and record them that way?boltonbrowne wrote:Fantastic to hear how many people want to find out about these hidden shouts.
The process of actually getting them is a Friggin' nightmare from Vaermina.
They are .fuz files, which for the life of me, I can't figure out how to read. But here's the rub...if you can even extract them (Believe me I've tried with a special .fuz extractor), then they become .xma files. Then, you gotta extract them AGAIN to get at the .wav files.
AND THEN...you gotta turn those into MP3's.
.....and-then-I-gotta-make-a-YouTube-Video-for-you-Sycophants.
If anyone could give me a Detailed, Concise, point-by-point walkthrough on how to actually get the files from .fuz to .MP3, I'd be grateful...and so would all the other guys wanting to hear these Mega-Shouts.
I only managed to gather these bits of information of how to get these files from people who actually had succeded in extracting all the way. (Modders whose only language is Jargon).

I don't think it's necessarily a hoax, lots of games have data on them that was cut from the final game, but I think the op is milking it for some kinda e-cred or something.

Re: Hidden Shout audios for Paarthurnax and Alduin
I can't vouch for its authenticity, but there is already a YouTube video (audio) of dragons Shouting:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0i4sO_b0jo
Wonder why this wasn't in the finished game...if you have subtitles on you get subs indicating that dragons are using the actual Shout words when they attack, but you never hear the words themselves, which seems odd.
