User: Deandra
Character: Elyna Nelas
Allegiance: Dunmer
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Female
Age : 142 (old enough to look like a fairly old human)
Class: Necromancer

Class Information
Favoured Attributes: Intelligence, Willpower
Major Skills: Conjuration, Mysticism, Restoration, Alchemy, Illusion
Minor Skills: Sneak, Alteration, Unarmored, Enchant, Speechcraft

Personality: Elyna's personality shows many sociopathic tendencies. She lies and cheats habitually without guilt, and feels no empathy for anyone. She cares only about herself and her research, and feels no remorse for the souls of those she uses in her necromancy. She has no concern for the Dunmer taboos against necromancy, and does not care about the wrath of ancestors or society.
Characteristics: Elyna is a member of House Telvanni (rank Spellwright), and she practices necromancy secretly in a cave hidden in the Boethian Mountains. She does not enjoy killing, but she has been known to murder others in order to protect herself when they would turn her in. Now, during the war, she has mostly ignored current events, but she is not afraid to support House Telvanni through mostly illicit means. Many rumors spread about her dark practices, and Elyna either ignores or sometimes even encourages them.
Physical Description: Dark purplish skin that is starting to get wrinkled, shiny black hair tied back into a bun, large red eyes, and a large nose. She favors richly embroidered black robes made from expensive* materials.
Background: Elyna was a talented member of the mage's guild, but failed to advance past Magician rank due to her complete inability to get along with others in the guild. She eventually left the guild and took up study on her own, which is where she developed her practice of necromancy. Even now, she has been unable to get promoted beyond the rank of Spellwright in her House because of the other members' distrust of her, and her abrasive personality.
Birthsign: The Apprentice
Equipment: Mortar and pestle, a bag of potions and ingredients, and a fancy sapphire amulet enchanted to give the wearer good luck.

Does this look ok?
Spoiler:
User: Believe
Character: Korzeth
Allegiance: House Hlaalu
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Male
Age (optional): 52
Class: Agent/Spy/Assassin
Class Information: Basically one of those "handymen" who take care of a few odd jobs for his masters. He isn't trained as an Assassin or Spy, he is just used in that capacity on occasion.
Class Build (Morrowindesque - keep it to roleplaying, don't worry if it's a gimped build in the actual game): Agent
Favoured Attributes: Personality, Intelligence
Major Skills: Speechcraft, Sneak, Illusion.
Minor Skills: Short Blade, Acrobatics, Restoration.
Personality/Characteristics: Korzeth takes his role in House Hlaalu seriously, he is devoted to his Elders, and will follow any orders without question. He is generally a quiet person, but if he has an idea that is relevant he will speak up. He hates Argonians, and dislikes house Telvanni for their neutrality in the war so far.
Physical Description (optional): Korzeth is 5'11, his body is wiry, but muscular. He is clean shaven, and has slightly shorter than shoulder-length white hair. He generally wears a nondescript brown cloak with a hood, and dark coloured leggings.
Background: Korzeth was raised in Balmora, in a poorish family from the East-side, but when he was 17 he was caught sneaking into Hlaalu Manor. He expected to be banished, or executed. But instead, Hlaalu officials were so impressed that they recruited him, and gave him training to better use his skills in their name. Ever since Korzeth has been a loyal follower of House Hlaalu, he feels he owes them a debt for raising his life far above his station.
Birthsign (optional): The Lady
Equipment: (clothing is in physical description) Silver shortsword, brace of 6 Steel throwing knives across his chest, a false Writ(Like the Morag Tong, but given to him by Hlaalu officials in case he gets caught after completeing a job for them) a low quality silver/ruby ring, given to him by one of his trainers when he was young.
Any other details: Can't think of any, might edit this later though.

Yep, they all look great.

Players:

Llavyn Zainab (Gideon Dragontongue) - House Redoran
Ka'Virr (Chaos the N'wah) - House Telvanni
Moryenarn (AddictedtoMorrowind) - Mercenary
Belvyn Rethan (Crepe the Ashlander) - House Hlaalu
Ordo (Greenlantern) - House Redoran
Alavesa Hlendregon (JVElEven) - House Dres
Ormis (Savilius) - House Hlaalu
Talis Saren (Cardbird) - House Telvanni
Aadnas Terivon (POMC S117) - Mercenary (Ashlander)
Seras Nethalen-Sul (Pilaf the Defiler) - House Redoran
Tralas Radarys (Free) - Mercenary (Dunmer)
Vindaryn Arliras (Jake-uh) - House Redoran
Sidewinder (Roadcone) - Captive (Argonian)
Elyna Nelas (Deandra) - House Telvanni
Korzeth (Believe) - House Hlaalu

Basically the story goes like this:

The Argonains have invaded Morrowind at the dawn of the 4th Era. After months of fighting the Dunemr have been able to halt the Argonain advance at the Velothi Mountains and in the Sacred East. However, the Dres have been forced to pull back from their traditional grounds and seek refugee in Northern Morrowind and Houses Hlaalu and Indroil have also conceded much ground.

A pivotal point of the battle is the City of Almalexia. While the Dunmer hold the city for now, the Argonains have laid an uncharacteristic siege on the city and there efforts to prevent the Dunmer from receiving reinforcements have so far been successful.

In response to the threat, the Dunmer Houses have assembled a council of war in an unknown location. Here members from all the Houses have assembled to discuss a plan of attack to rid Morrowind of the Argonain invaders once and for all.

Status of the 5 Houses:
Hlaalu: House Hlaalu lost much of its territory including the traditional capital of Narsis, forcing them to re-locate the House capital to Kragenmoor. However, House Hlaalu remains strong due to its strength before the crisis and have much gold in their coffers to support the war effort. Re-enforcements from the Imperial Province continue to support the House, although their numbers are dwindling.

Indoril: House Indoril have lost ground to the lizard invaders, but their resolve is strong and they fight and die tenaciously for the capital. While Indoril was waning in the 3rd Era, it survived the Oblivion Crisis and Eruption of Red Mountain relativity unscathed making it a House not to be ignored in these dark times.

Redoran: House Redoran were severely affected by the Oblivion Crisis and the loss of their Council Seat at Ald'ruhn. Nonetheless, their new movement in Blacklight remains strong and their warriors will be a force to be reckoned with. However, the warriors of Redoran must also focus on keeping the Nords and Orcs out of Morrowind by holding them at bay at Dunmeth Pass.

Telvanni: The Telvanni were crippled by the tidal waves that ensued from the Eruption of Red Mountain. The loss of Sadrith Mora was terrible, and while Port Telvannis is damaged, it is not destroyed meaning the Sorcerers of this house will continue to fight. However, there are some in the House who do not want to get involved in the conflict because the Argonian invasion has not hurt Telvanni and it has seen their power increase as other Houses suffer.

Dres: House Dres has lost all of it's holding and been crippled as a House. The only house not to have been seriously affected by previous disasters, Dres has now moved it's capital to Solstheim and many survivors have fled to Kragenmoor (A few councilors can be found here amongst the Hlaalu court) or the Sacred East.

The Argonians:
The invaders have taken the opportunity of the chaos caused by the Red Year to invade. They were ruthless in their attacks and quickly took Tear, freeing countless slaves and wreaking havoc before a defensive force could be mustered. However, once fleeing survivors of Dres reached the Hlaalu and Indroil holdings, the Dunmer were able to muster their troops and put up a good fight, halting the invasion. While the Argonians continue to attack, they have skillfully avoided pitch battles against the Dunmer, but with the Dunmer mustering for a counter-attack to retake the Deshaan Plains, they will soon need to ready themselves for battle.

Additional Background Info:
Here's an update for and http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l61 ... heeast.jpg

The shading is Redoran: the red in the west, Hlaalu: the yellow in the south-west, Indoril: the white in the centre-east, Dres: the purple in the south and Telvanni the orangey brown in the north-east. Oh and, green is temple.

Just note these are old territories, the Dres have lost all ground and the Indroil and Hlaalu have lost fair amounts too.

The Argonians have taken the majour cities of Narsis and Tear. The central plains and southern swamps have fallen. The battlelines are drawn near Almalexia and Kragenmoor (the new Hlaalu capital).

We'll begin very shortly, new players can still join up fairly easily during the early stages, and slightly less so in later stages. I've just got a few things to sort out, and then we can start.

The two first ones are the DM characters for the two groups, the others are minor characters, all those falling into the 'Other category' will hardly make an appearance, but are there to add some substance to the initial Council.

Also, I think I'll kick off very shortly, I've got everything I need organised.

I was thinking fairly close to the beginning, but we'll be in PM contact. If you want, you can RP on your scouting mission to being with, although perhaps give us some time to leave the council so as not to confuse people.

Everyone is at the Council, most of the Council is a lot of DM back and forth, but anyone can speak at the Council, and of course intermingle and introduce characters, and the higher ranked players, those who PMed me, etc. can certainly speak and are encouraged to.
