Exactly! The Imga is just... I don't know.

They're... Monkey... People... Things. That's a fair reason for a new race.imperialkhajiit wrote:Exactly! The Imga is just... I don't know.

Technically, Imga are apes. Tang Mo from Akavir are (said to be) monkey people, but as we've never laid eyes on them they may simply turn out to be another kind of man or elf.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Weren't there Tang Mo in The Infernal City or was that a different race?
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Monkeys, apes... They're all the same thing to a simplistic and forgetful mind such as mine. You say tomato, I say tomato.Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Lunatic wrote:They're... Monkey... People... Things. That's a fair reason for a new race.imperialkhajiit wrote:Exactly! The Imga is just... I don't know.

Re: new beast race
If you mean Luc, he was a Hob. From the Wiki: "A hairless monkey-like creature used as an assistant to the chefs on Umbriel; long arms and legs, very long, thin, delicate fingers, huge toothless mouth, large green eyes; very simple language skills"Knight Captain Kerr wrote:Weren't there Tang Mo in The Infernal City or was that a different race?
I always wondered if Hobs were a lesser daedra serving Clavicus or just an animal.
The Imga interest me but not as much as the Sload. I realize that a huge number of new animations would have to be made to make them a possibility, but people have been suggesting that the different species of Khajiit should be made available and some of them move differently too (Morrowind Khajiit & the species used as steeds).
Also if fitting armor on the Sload is difficult, why not give them immense magical powers (even stronger than those of the Altmer) but remove their ability to wear armor (or some armors at least since cloth might be an option for them). It was done before in Morrowind where beast races couldn't wear boots or closed helmets.

Re: new beast race
Imga would be pretty awesome though, not to play as per se, but to see as NPCs. They're snootier than the Altmer by a million-fold, and they despise humans. I can just picture how ridiculous they would look holding capes to their noses and twirling rapiers as they walk aloofly by as Men gawk at them.

Re: new beast race
The only reason I could think of wanting them in the game, would be so that I can slit their throat/burn them to a crisp/shout them off a cliff (basically any kind of death). They are simply obnoxious.Mars wrote:Productive as always.born2beagator wrote:Mudcrabs
The only beast race that could realistically be implemented into the game without creating major complications would be the Imga. To which I can only reply:
