I'm thinking about a new power supply and putting two AMD 6950's in Crossfire.GrayFlux wrote:You just have to be willing to spend the time it takes to get a good rig built.Abel wrote:Damn. Put's my machine to shame.

I do hope you are planning on water-cooling those GPU's.Abel wrote:

Now I am.GrayFlux wrote:I do hope you are planning on water-cooling those GPU's.Abel wrote:

What are the advantages for water-cooling? Besides the obvious I mean? Right now I have some big honking fans but I am running two Radeon 6970's. The gut who helped me put my rig together said that my fans would be enough.Abel wrote:Now I am.GrayFlux wrote:I do hope you are planning on water-cooling those GPU's.Abel wrote:

Substantial increase in posterity and performance. There's a bit of an art to water-cooling, but more than worth the trouble.gamermanblue wrote:

If you're still looking, I recommend FRAPS, http://www.fraps.com/gamermanblue wrote:How do you check FPS? I have no idea what my FPS rate is

I am actually curious, if you care to tell. Probably depends on if you bought it to order, or built it yourself.... but what did that cost you. I was looking for a new PC last year, and due to travel, have to go with a laptop, so was sort of limited there. I did check out a monster desktop, a bit more than that, but it would have cost $25K. This would have been with 2 CPU, 4 GPU, and 4 HDD, 2 monitors, ect...GrayFlux wrote:CPU: Intel i7 3960x Extreme SandyBridge CPU

Your rig can certainly do whatever it wants with SkyrimAndere wrote: To be honest, I don't need this. I'm not playing anything right now, but I'm looking forward to get the spark to play Oblivion again, it surely will be amazing.maybe I even get a kick for Skyrim?
