"But then I took an arrow to the knee..."

Post by AK Flatfoot »

Has anybody noticed how everyone is overusing that joke anywhere possible that you can comment on skyrim?
Just sayin.

There was a point in time where the joke felt fresh and new. Until I—

— owwwwww.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Any tes jokes, like arrow to the knee one, or stop there criminal scum, are just annoying. Ill admit its funny once in a while, but people use it just to use it, and not for laughs.

I think the more important question is who is putting all these arrows in people's knees? What, over there? Hey - STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM.

It's a fad and it won't go away anytime soon. Best get used to it. Perhaps they'll make a good gig out of it like the Imperial Guard Song? That'd satisfy me.

You see those dragons in Skyrim? They're flying backwards. Flying. Backwards.

Don't mind it provided people don't waste a post just to say it without contributing to the thread

I heard about you and your honeyed words, then I took a curved sword to the knee, and absorbed its very soul. Very. Soul.

I would've told you otherwise, until I took- Bah, screw it. It won't be funny. I agree with Chaos, long as something to the thread is contributed, it's entirely alright.

It is overused. On every video related to Skyrim(and some other things), there's at least 10 comments about that on the front page. Jeez.

A lot of which are absolutely awful, no clever twist on the joke, no personal flair; just vomited out verbatim with barely an attempt to make sense.

I used to be all livid and anti-conformist about a silly Skyrim meme, but then I took a chill pill and quit being a Stop Having Fun Guy.

Oh my gatos. So buying this, once I find it in a women's fit. Actually, I prefer this one:

...must make...

This thread has taught me that TES memes are precious. My using the Morrowind tutorial line on everyone in the Welcomes and Goodbyes thread aside, let's admit it: those quirky one liners are near and dear to our hearts.
