For all Assassin and Thief roleplayers
This is a place for people who are assassin and or thief roleplayers in TES and would like to share their characters, screenshots, ideas or just have a discussion about of course assassin and or thief roleplaying
. The point of the forum is for like minded people who play TES game's to share their thought's and talk about their character's, their characters travels and anything else that has to do with assassin or thief roleplaying the reason I started it is because I really like the assassin and thief aspect of these games and I like to roleplay my assassins and thieves so I like to talk to other people who also roleplay as assassins and or thieves like I do and so other people can also come here and socialize with people who also roleplay as assassins and thieves.

Re: For all Assassin roleplayers
There's this exchange in the Fellowship of the Ring movie where Merry asks "How do we know that this 'Strider' is a friend...?"
Frodo's reply? "I suspect an agent of the eneny would look fairer, and feel fouler."
From this, I am committed to the idea that my assassin will always be the most beautiful character I can create.
Heroism can always benefit from a scar or two.
Evil will always need the mascara.
Aside from that, my assassin is a tenuous balance between practicality and passion. Practical enough for self-preservation, passionate enough to exact a cruel right against the slightest perception of a 'wrong'. This opens the possibility that my heartless assassin will do something 'incrediably stupid' and become a hero as a result.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Definitely not that. I don't advertise my work with the Dark Brotherhood on my face— instead it'll be written quite clearly on the faces of many others...... my Nord assassin is going to have a scar from his eyebrow to his cheek.

For assassin roleplaying, sometimes I like the random bounty quests against Bandits, I sneak around and try to kill the target undetected.

I'm more of a murderer than assassin, I do love leaving a flawed pearl next to the body though. Watch for my work >.>

Yeah I do the same thing except I don't try. I do and what where you where saying about leaving a pearl? I figure it's better to leave nothing and go undetected. Also another question if your in the Dark Brotherhood is it like mandatory to worship sithis?LtGt72 wrote:Try to use the edit post button, eh? No double posting!

Most serial killers leave a calling card, so as to draw attention to their work, it's just a little roleplay flavor I like to add, before I did pearls, I did a series of screenshots where I would leave a redwort flower on all the bodies of my contracts for the Dark Brotherhood. Worshipping Sithis isn't mandatory I'd think, just think of Grogon from the Cheydinhal Sanctuary.Assassin540 wrote:Yeah I do the same thing except I don't try. Calling cards make you predictable. They help weave a skein of order into the dark whirlwind of chaos your actions are trying to create.

She's not in the Dark Brotherhood yet, but she has taken to her old habit of impersonating city guards in order to gain peoples' trust (sort of like the T-1000 from Terminator 2).
This is a profile shot of Casandra Serein. Not bad for a 221-year old Imperial, no? (She was turned into a vampire shortly after the events of the Oblivion crisis. She's better now...)

Re: For all Assassin roleplayers
Whenever I do an assasination quest, I put on middle-class clothing and wield only a dagger (Orcish preferably) and stalk my target for days and learn their habits. Now if I want to make it a public assasination so I can strike fear into the city, I drink an invisibility potion and come in with a powerful sneak attack. If I want to do it secretly, I simply take my bow out and strike a headshot while Im lurking in the shadows. Afterwards, I drink another invisibilty potion and run to the city gates.

Re: For all Assassin roleplayers
Ahh, the story of Casandra Serein is a long and sordid tale. Luckily, we have links.Assassin540 wrote:... Dark Spark she looks pretty awesome what's her story?
When I finally refined the character, I settled into a 'Lawful Evil' sort of a groove— she's a half-insane axe murderer, but she conceals all this to the extreme point that she'll act heroically if it later puts her in a position of trust. Which she then abuses as best she can.
The details of her youth are inconsequential, or even fictional.
She does love her night-job, though. In certain cases, she's had more fun than a normal person should have when dealing with a grave problem. But she has had some setbacks as well. That said, Cassie will balk the rules if they seem silly to her, even if it means giving up the bonus reward to a contract.
Her skill at Destruction magic is, alas, not all that strong. Her Restoration work is unsurprisingly even worse.

Imperial and he has short black hair, goatee, and a scar on his left cheek. Yea I agree with you, the new DB armor is pretty cool looking. It depends, if Im in a city or just exploring I always have my 2 trusty Orcish daggers on me and when Im heading into a fort, dungeon, or somewhere where there will be a lot of fighting, I wield a sword on my right and Ice Spike on my right.
