When most of the Councilmen had left the hall, Llemetha slowly got up and approached Councilman Duruza, still not saying a word, and still completely shrouded in her now rather more exquisite attire.

Re: The Battle for the East
"That is true. That would be, idiotic." Edril felt a little more comfort. "Me and my men shall wait here, if others shall join, they'll wait here with me. Just send word for us when the time to leave has come." Edril said, and made another quick bow.

"Well I could do with a stiff drink for now," remarked Voryn, heading into the tavern, flanked by his men. "They'd better sell a good Sujamma here!"

"Oh they do sir!" one of Edril's guards exclaimed, though he was quickly slapped in the back of his head by one of his comrats.
Edril returned to packing his mount for the journey and put some of his men on guard to patroll around the horses, weaving with their torches to that nothing could pass before them.

Re: The Battle for the East
Mordechai made his way out of the great hall and to the stately home of the Hlaalu noble that had originally hired him. The moment Mordechai walked through the door the complaints started.
"You, Mercenary!" shouted the Hlaalu noble, "You're job was clear S'wit, You were told to hold your tongue" Mordechai ignored him and kept walking. "You're in my house now you fool, listen to me when i'm talking to you."
With a flick of his hand Mordechai stopped the man from talking, his mouth could move but he couldn't speak, it was magically silenced. Mordechai turned and made an obscene gesture before continuing upstairs to his room.
Mordechai collected his gear. He equipped his leather armour and drew a deep black cloak over his back, the hood coming just low enough to cover his eyes. Finally he strapped the glass longsword (which he had taken from the mages guild just before he was ejected) to his back and headed for the caravan of Ordinators accumulating outside.
He arrived at the caravan just in time to see the Ordinators making their last arrangements to leave. He approached Voryn Indoril and adressed him in a confident mannor;
"My lord, i am ready and at your disposal" He said.

"Oh, hello there," replied Voryn, who in spite of the war, the fall of Mournhold, and the death of the Archmagnate, was now feeling decidedly brighter after sharing a whole jug of Sujamma with his officers. "You're the mercenary, right?"

Kilaya walked steadily toward the tavern entrance. He walked in and found his way up to his room. There was a backpack inside, with various foods and trinkets for travelling. He gathered the bag, and headed downstairs. Silently, Kilaya took a seat at the bar.

"One bottle of Flin please." Kilaya spoke to the bartender, as he pulled out a small bag full of coins. He placed five on the bar, and the bartender gave him the drink. Kilaya pulled the top off of the bottle and drank from it intermittently.

Beren pulled up a chair next to Kilaya.
"Same here," he said to the bartender.
Turning to Kilaya, he said, "Saw you at the Council. That was a bloody risky move you pulled back there."

Kilaya choked on the Flin. After a long torrent of coughing, he turned his head to Beren. "What?! I... I don't know what you're talking about."

"Right. I must have you confused. Then again, there wasn't many Argonians there."
Beren said, taking the bottle of flin from the barkeeper.
"Sorry 'bout that."

Re: The Battle for the East
Kilaya sat, alarmed at what he had heard. Did he hear any of the conversation? Could he know about... Them? He was suddenly shocked into reality as a group of drunken men hardily yelled and laughed at a table in the corner of the tavern.

Re: The Battle for the East
A Dunmer man noticed Kilaya and Beren sitting at the bar.
"Well lookie what we have here boys! Looks like this Redoran doesn't know that we don't take kindly to Lizard scum here! Why don't we teach him a lesson?" He yelled. A couple of Dunmer took to his side.
"Yeh! Let's!"
"Excuse me for a moment will you."
Beren stood up, turned around to face the Dunmer crowd.
"Kinsmen, I assure you that you don't want to do this."
"Yeh we do!" They yelled back, spitting at Beren.
"Have it your way then."
He walked up calmly to the leader of the group, withdrew a concealed dagger and plunged it into the Dunmer's chest.
The man fell, the Dunmer behind him just looked on, eyes wide with terror. They fled, leaving their comrade on the floor.
Beren returned to his seat, slid 50 drakes to the Barkeep.
"Sorry 'bout the mess Donal."
"Don't worry about it. The Watch won't care about a dead Dunmer," the Barkeeper replied.

Kilaya sat and stared at the remnants of what just happened, with his legs crossed and a grin on his face.
"Holy crap... That was the best part of my day."

"You gonna tell me what you were doing at the Council? Or do I have to beat it outta ya'?"
