On the wiki, there is an "artistic illustration" of pre-attack Kvatch:

I didn't post the link directly to the pic, because full size it doesn't have the same effect. If you scroll down the above page to look at it, to me it always looks like some really creepy old man. ....or maybe it's just me that sees it like that??
You just walk into random neighbours houses and sit down?? Or do you just mean in Ob?!

I play with the mod called "Kvatch Aftermath", and it is a very well done mod. Alot of new quests that allows you to rebuild the city, add new shops, and become the new count. It shouldn't be impossible to post some pictures...
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

I mean in Oblivion. Who in real like would keep calmly eating at their dinner table while you have a sword out and are clad in medieval-style steel armor? I wouldn't. For the record, would they say, "You have the hands of a healer."weka wrote: You just walk into random neighbours houses and sit down??Or do you just mean in Ob?!
Although I have been spending time at my neighbors' houses. Not surprising: I have to babysit their kids. It's a cool job, as I get free food and access to the internet once the kids fall asleep cause they think I'm so boring. They haven't played video games yet, apparently.

Not sure. I'd probably have a couple of homes and travel a lot. Cheydinhal is one of my favorites- beautiful landscape, great architecture, not too far from the Imperial City, and the DB. Skingrad has some wonderfully rich surrounding land (I used the construction set to build my own "palace" just outside of Skingrad), choice locals like Tamika, a central location, and even the poorest houses are as mansions compared to the rest of Cyrodil. Nords are my all-time favorite race, and I'm a sucker for those longhouses, so Bruma is a natural choice for me. Anvil and Leyawiin are both fun port cities (nothing like living by the sea!), but Leyawiin is full of stinking Khajiit and Argonians, so Anvil is the clear winner there.
So I guess my main house would be in Skingrad (or just outside of Skingrad) and considerable time would be spent between Anvil, Bruma, Cheydinhal, and the Imperial City.
