Movies to watch/ Movies not to watch

Now I get to look forward to Captain America in the Summer to round out the cast needed for the Avengers Movie slated for spring of next year

Hopefully they can pull off so many movies at once. From seeing Thor, I think that there is a fair chance they will, so I'll definitely consider Captain America and The Avengers.

I saw Thor in 3D, and I give it a solid Good rating: all the usual fare of the PG action genre, the jokes are few, but actually funny, the Action wasn't overwhelming, infrequent or too frequent and some well picked actors for the lead roles. Worth watching at least once if you have any passing interest in Marvel

I want to watch A Game of Thrones, but I want to finish the book first.

Oh, lets see, necrophilia, pedophilia, necropedophilia... I remember one bit where the gross guy cut a hole in a woman's stomach and stuck his man tool in it, and there was also the bit where the guy and the girl ripped an unborn baby out of a womans stomach. Oh and there is also the bit where the killers held a girl hostage, threatening to kinfe rape her if the boyfriend didn't cut his own [&@%!] off, and well, you can guess the rest...

Yeah, the book is better, but the show isn't far off, I just finished episode three, and I loved it!!

Yeah, but at least nobody is force fed poop for sustenance.


I've never seen a Serbian film either Lindai, but if they're worse than The Human Centipede then I don't want to!

Shadowscale, I'll probably be seeing the sequel, depends on whether or not my good friend who has a knack for finding this off the wall garbage sees it, and where he sees it.

Actually... There is a bit at the start of the first film, a tied up girl was being smeared in her own excrement, and Im pretty sure they made her eat it, I cant remember clearly. Trust me though, Ive seen the Human Centipede, it's nowhere near as obscene as August Underground.

I'm going to be blunt. They suck. Badly. Maybe it's just my snobby movie critic side, but I think the latest two have been sloppy messes of half-baked nonsense, and from the media that's been released for the latest film so far, I'd say it's going the same way.

I probably won't go and see On Stranger Tides, because, despite the fact the first three were okay, I never actually was motivated to go see them in a cinema so why should I go see one that looks like it will be much worse.

I gotta think that both of them will still be in it in some capacity. I think Orlando will show up for certain. and in the previews, I thought I saw a glimpse of Keira. Even so, some new actors will make it refreshing, and Cruz is a good actor so it is not like they are replacing them with hacks.

I saw a brilliant movie recently. It was called "Happiness". It's not a new release or anything (1998 apparently), just something my gf rented from uni. Has anyone else seen it? I was really impressed by it. Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. Here's the IMDB page for it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147612/.

I generally don't watch new releases. I think in the last 5 years I've been to the cinemas around 5 times and walked out during 3 of them... Actually, for work experience recently I was forced to watch a couple of movies at the cinemas. I saw two absolutely atrocious movies: "Sucker Punch" and "The Adjustment Bureau". If I wasn't there for work experience, I definitely would've walked out of both of them.
