Anyways, I think that Vampirism and Lycanthropy as they stand have been upsettingly narrow as far as choice goes.
You can A: Hunt people to sustain your monstrous self
Or B: Find a cure
There is really not enough that can be tailored by you either way.

Dude, more than that. Unless you were some low level, really weak Werewolf, I think they should see you as alpha, i.e, you could maybe 'communicate' to them primatively, you know, without language, take over a wolf pack, unless you just slaughter them.Tesknowitall wrote:It annoyed me in morrowind that average wolves got along but if a wolf saw u (as a werewolf), they would attack immediatly. What if the other wolves would ignore u in were form but when u take out ur claws to attack, they trigger and say to emselves "ah s*** he gonna attack me" and they fight back. Only combat between other canine if you start it lol thas what u think.

okay yeah communication would be epic. I said somewhere above something about talking with hircine and maybe even hunting with him. That made me think of a way to start a werewolf quest.KneelBeforeZod wrote:Dude, more than that. Now, a werewolf AND a vampire might have problems, as they'd smell that you're a filthy hellspawn and flip out.

That would be wicked! And plus, them hunting in packs, you should almost always have some backup, if you get into a fight. I like backup.Tesknowitall wrote:okay yeah communication would be epic. After being inffected, u can make your way over to a hircine worshipping shrine where you become one of hircines hounds and slowly after doing missions raise ur rank in hircines wolves.

You mean horse right? I dont think your house would be able to avoid you. I like this idea though, it would add different consequences to being a vampire. I didn't really like the sun damage, it was too pwerfull, if it had been just a stat drain it would be better.KneelBeforeZod wrote:Something I just thought of, what if regular animals give you a wide berth if you become a Vampire, as they recognize you as a Hellspawn and if freaks 'em out? Particularly difficult if your house hasn't grown accustomed to you, or trusted you yet.
Werewolves basically have the same thing, but low level dogs and wolves will follow you and never attack. However, if any wolves or dogs are of higher level than you, then they would compete to be alpha.

Skyrim vampires are so much cooler than Cyrodiil vampires. The Lore wrote:The Volkihar vampires of eastern Skyrim live under haunted, frozen lakes and only leave their dens to feed. They have the power to freeze their victims with icy breath, and can reach through the ice of their frozen lake dens without breaking the ice.

That'd be nice. 'Knock out on touch'KneelBeforeZod wrote:Look, all I want is a grapple move, where I then bite and feed from the person. I'd enjoy that. Or if we're still doing the "feed from the sleeping" thing...how about an automatic sleep spell, as a vampire?

Ye more types of vampires is definitely neededTheNightFather wrote:Hmm... it would be very interesting if they brought all the vampires in, and had a vampire guild where you choose which type of vampire you wish to be.

Other than the obvious disadvantage that vampires would have against something that breathes fire, I'd imagine you'd still attack/get attacked by Dragons at night like you would in daylight. Unless they follow you into your lair...KneelBeforeZod wrote:Just thought of something. You're the last Dragonborn.
Would being a Vampire make hunting dragons difficult, you think?
