I don't see why you shouldn't. There aren't any faction limitations like in Morrowind, thank you casual gaming preferences.

Depends, do you use the Relics of the Crusader? You won't be able to wield them if your infamy goes over 1, and The Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood give infamy for doing quests.

It's up to you, there is no harm in it. I can think of three other joinable factions you didn't list:

Order of the Dragon
Knights of the White Stallion
Order of the Virtuous Blood

As for the infamy problem mentioned in the post above, you can always redo the pilgrimmage to clear your infamy.

When your infamy is above zero, every shrine will give the same message, "Continue your penance to earn the gods' forgiveness." Continue to all nine shrines, with that same message each time, and at the ninth the message will be "Rejoice, You've completed the Pilgrimage of the Nine Wayshrines, and your sins have been washed clean!"

I'm going to disagree with most everyone on this forum and say that there should[/b] be faction limitations. It's just painfully unrealistic. Sure, a champion of the Arena could be a champion of the Fighters Guild. But the

becoming the hero of Cyrodiil? Eh.. I would also love to see guilds that focused on jobs as well as contracts. Day to day tasks, maybe. All of this for realism.

I am a member in every faction that comes standard with the game, though I am not the highest member in almost any of them, excluding Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild. Fighters Guild, Arena, and Mages Guild. *thinks*
