Spoiler:
Very nice dscription there Arotos. Also, why is everyone going to detention now instead of the end of the day? Is it a different system out of the UK?
Clara laughed at Malan's joke. "Yeah, I guess anywhere is better than Maths. I'm Clara Vakerian. Don't ask about my surname."
"Miss Vakerian!" Fjolnir shouted at the top of his voice, "distracting other students is not something I look kindly upon. I suggest you prepare yourself adequetely for the lesson at hand, or you will find yourself in even more trouble!"
Clara sighed. "It's nice to speak to somebody who doesn't know me," she whispered to Malan, "I'm guessing we haven't met, have we? Otherwhise you'd probably either hate or fear me."
The now visibly angry professor glared at Clara briefly, then continued his prattle.
"He's acting out of character today, don't you think?" she asked Malan. "I mean, he's still boring, but normally he's much calmer. Do you think the teachers know something they aren't telling us about Remus and the dissapearances?"
"VAKERIAN! OUT!"

Spoiler:
For the RP's sake, I'll get my character a detention.
Wondering why Samuel left so abrubtly and to not return, Dro-virr finished off the assigned work. When the period ended he picked up his speed potions and placed them carefully into his satchel. Just as he was about to exit Mrs Matus yelled to him, "Oh Dro-virr, how about you use those speed potions to get your hide down to detention, hmm... So maybe you'll stop taking ingredients without permission and do the set work for a change." Dro-virr sighed and without looking back he headed towards detention. Along the way he made a mental note to make his own personal potions in his free periods.

After a few turns and smiling back a female khajiiht that winked at him, he arrived at the doors of detention. He didn't expect to be here long as his magics tutor would come looking for him. He parted the doors to see both the Samuels already sitting. "At least this one won't be alone for detention," he sat down in the last row and took out his 'Manual to advanced Destruction Spellcraft' and begun studying the fine details of each spell.
Spoiler:
@Vekatimast: I'm guessing that a detention in this school is missing out on the next lesson. The school probably sees it as "missing out on valuble education of which you'll have to catch up". Probably isn't though.

The design in Kylar's head dropped, and faded. The last tendrils of his design flailing and whipping like tendrils of smoke. What had disturbed him? He muttered a life detection spell under his breath, one of the first spells his father had taught him, and to no surprise saw the exuberant and confident figure that could only be Raletus kick open the door to a room. The room was small, with one preoccupant.. who seemed to interact freely with him and his companion. "The Samuels no doubt" he inaudibly muttered again. He had no doubt that after last year they wouldn't want their bad reputations to slump. He let out a sigh, and conceided with a hint of joyful anticipation that he should probably join them. "Besides, can't let them make all the mischief now can I?" Suddenly remembering his old companion, who appeared to be absent from the scene, Kylar wearily attempted to channel Dro-virr. He realised that the Khajiit's tuned senses would probably pick up the slightest of his psychic hints, and so saved himself the agonising effort of putting words into another's head. With any hope he'd acknowledge what the little twinge meant. Expelling some air after holding his breath with the pressure of sending his message, he quickly thought up his escape. "Miss Mosely? May I have a while to take a stroll? I feel I'm not stimulated by this environment enough to bring out the best of my efforts." Miss Mosely was trusting of Kylar, but not stupid. She knew his intentions as perfectly as she knew her own, Kylar's bluff was so not to arouse suspicion among the students, not her own. "Certainly Kylar, take your time. Although I'd appreciate your piece finished as soon as reasonable." "Thank you Miss Mosely" Kylar suavely spoke. Wasting no time, but remembering his bluff, Kylar got up quickly, and set off down the corridor with a rare expression adorning his face. A smile.
Spoiler:
Sorry that's so long, but I feel any less wouldn't work as well. :D

"So me, what did we do to get myself in detention? We didn't have another fight, so that can't be it," Samuel said to Samuel (Vum) trying to annoy him. As he waited for an answer, he took out one of his potion and drank it quickly so he could restore some of his magicka from his chameleon spell. He figured that if he got bored in detention, he could have some fun with some telekinesis and Samuel's stuff. Oh how he loved mysticism...and Illusion too! Thinking about illusion, Samuel had an idea.
He walked over to the window in the room, opened it, and looked for an animal that wasn't deadly, but also wasn't really small. When he found one, he cast a command spell on it. The animal quickly jumped into the room and onto Samuel's shoulder. "Okay little friend, see that guy over there?" He said, pointing to Samuel (Vum) "Why don't you play with him. He's very lonely..." He finished. When the creature jumped down from his shoulder, Samuel cast an invisibility spell and waited for the magic to unfold.
"Hm, I hope he doesn't mistake play with attack. Eh, We'll be fine," Samuel thought.

Spoiler:
Really? I didn't quite think so. I slapped it together rather quickly...I think I get too wordy. But thank you, either way! Also, I am just mentioning Clara doing a thing or two. I certainly hope it's alright...if I'm portraying her inaccurately, give me the word, and I'll edit it!
Perhaps things won't be so boring at all. The girl beside Malan, Clara, interested him. Perhaps because she was new (but so were many others). No...her freshness wasn't it...it was because of what she said. "...otherwise you'd probably either hate or fear me."

He had opened his mouth to inquire, however his question was cut short when Fjolnir gave her an angered, cruel-looking glare. After his bought of silent (and therefore dangerous) rage receded, he had not the chance to attempt to ask again. She continued talking, mentioning the headmaster and the, ehem, absence of certain students. For a third time, Malan hoped to get out a question, but was thrice again silenced, now by the boom of Fjolnir's voice. "VAKERIAN! OUT!"

The students paused, turned their heads. Clara stood up, began to take a step, but then Malan rose to his fit as well. "No, sir, it's not her fault. I'd mentioned something to her, and she was just responding...it was completely innocuous." Clara seemed to be a bit surprised with Malan's defending of her.
"Innocuous? There is nothing INNOCUOUS about disrupting my class and distracting other students, to whom this class might actually be important."
Malan's Breton pride had been chipped with what he believed was the nerve in the professor's rebuttal. "Nobody gives a goblin's sh*t about your class, Fjolnir." This seemed to strike just the right (or wrong) chord in the Nord's being.
He didn't yell. Simply spoke, "Mr. D'argent. Leave with her as well. I will see you..." he took a breath, controlling whatever fire was certainly smoldering inside him. "...in detention." His voice rose, just barely. "NOBODY disrespects me in my classroom."
Half of Malan's heart sank. He had actually spoken back to an instructor. Those are the sort of things that have gotten students expelled before.
The other half, though, the proud half, was glowing in satisfaction, knowing it had successfully gotten a reaction out Fjolnir.

A student coughed. Malan began walking down the aisle beside his seat, looking at Clara. He mouthed the words "You owe me" with a grin.
I missed it here.

Kylar opened the door silently, seemingly rousing no one. He noticed the lack of a physical presence of one of the samuels, but saw his life signature with his life detection spell still active. He tapped the invisible Samuel on the shoulder, acknowledging his presence, and then following the signature's gaze toward the presence of an animal seemingly doing laps around the other Samuel's body. He shook his head with pity, but the smile stubbornly clung to his face, as the animal was too cute for him to bring himself to rid Samuel of it. Kylar then nodded at Dro-virr, wondering at the same time whether his hint earlier had been recieved or not. Reading the cover of the book he was reading, Kylar decided to leave the Khajiit to his study. Learning more destruction skill can never be a bad thing. He took a single septim from his pocket, and began to twiddle with it, lapping it between his fingers, occasionally stepping in with telekinesis to complete the circuit around his palm. It gave him satisfaction to practice quick casting and dispelling of telekinesis spells, they were always his favourite, giving him the ability to manipulate objects without the inconvenience of being present. He dropped the coin as he lost concentration, and caught it on the toe of his boot. Kicking it back up to meet his hand, he muttered to himself. "Typical, I can be a member of a High Rock dynasty but I still can't multi-task. I shall have to get one of the girls to "teach" me...."
"Go to hell, Carolina!"

Samuel saw Kylar flipping his coin around and couldn't help himself. Like his friend Raletus, Samuel liked pranks, but his usually involved magic since he had more power to do so. He cast telekinesis on the septim, which dispelled his invisibility, and drew the coin closer to himself until he snatched it in his hand.
"Who says you can't make money with magic?" He joked, tossing the coin in the air and catching it. "Hey me! Look at the money we made! Oh sorry, I see you're busy with our new pet. Be gentle please!" He joked at Samuel, grinning.

"Well, it's not a Daedroth, I know that...It kind of looks like a mouse, if you ask me. Me me, that is, not him me(Vum). Hey! Him me? Can you get a good look at the creature? Do you know what it is?" Samuel said to Samuel, trying not to laugh.

Clara quickly left the classroom, holding back the urge to laugh. This new guy was pretty funny, and brave to stand up to Fjolnir like that. Taking advantage of a moment when she wouldn't be watched, she quickly cast Chameleon and snuck back to the dorm. Detention weren't goin to be pleased if they saw her without her school journal.

Samuel watched as new arrivals entered the detention room, he didn't even know why he was in there. But he stayed anyway. He noticed that Samuel (I_Am_One) had gotten up and had begun moving towards the window for whatever reason, he opened it and a breath of cold ear whispered through the room. It seemed to speak, but it was probably just the wind. Samuel (Me) noticed that Samuel (I_Am_One) had suddenly disappeared. He looked throughout the room, but there was nothing. There was a lot of magicka going on in the room, though, as Samuel (Me) had begun to feel nauseous. He moved back in his chair, almost tripping on something that was on the floor behind him. On closer inspection, it appeared to be nothing. Probably just sickness kicking in.

Clara entered the detention room, and almost fainted at the magicka prescence.
"For the love of the Nine child, sit down and end your tomfoolery!" called out the supervisor.
"I... I... I can barely breathe," murmered Clara as she struggled to remain concious, "Too much magic...My birthsign... I can't stand it..."
By now she was almost on the floor. All the students were preoccupied to even acknowledge her prescence, and the supervisor, an elderly Breton, wasn't having any of it, presumably due to his resistance to the energies.
"Show some respect when speaking to superiors!" he yelled at her, passing off her reaction as an attempt to get out of her mess. "You think if there was enough magic to do that to you, I wouldn't have noticed!"
By now the only thing keeping Clara from passing out was a tiny amount of magicka she had left, slightly resisting some of the energy. She would probably getin trouble for doing that as well. Showed how bad the system was.
Spoiler:
Right now Clara is struggling to remain concious in the doorway, due to her Apprentice birthsign and the strong violent magic prescence. I haven't made any characters notice, but of course you can if you wish. Oh, and feel free to control her temporarily to make the story move on.

Kylar's eyes wandered towards the door, and then locked. And widened. Then the rest of him reacted. A girl had entered, and immediately collapsed. Crouching down to her level, he touched her arm slightly, noticing how cold she was, and how her hairs stood on end. He had seen this before, if not briefly, among the peasants at High Rock, as the battles ensued, where magic was used heavily there were some in their numbers that just passed out and before that showed similar symptoms to that which the girl was suffering. Gripping her arm now, he attempted to enforce the girl's resistance, transferring some of his own to her, so that between them they'd be able to withstand the present magicka. He'd need it back, but it'd do for now. Ignoring the bellowing supervisor, who deserved to have his own ignorance returned, Kylar whispered, "Hey, can you hear me? Do you feel any better for that? Hello?"
"Go to hell, Carolina!"

Clara managed to muster the stength to whisper back,
"B...Back at my dorm. Less magic. I can... I can dispel it. This... It's unnatural. Nobody in here can... can fill the air with this. Please... help me reach my room."
She attempted to stand, but almost slipped away from reality again. She was impressed at the differnt attitudes of some of the people she'd seen today, too used to the arrogance of the average students. Then she realised that thinking was causing her to lose some of her magicka focus.
"I'm... I'm already gonna be in deep trouble for using magic. Just please... please get me away from this room, and I'll get to my room. No need... to drag you down with me. Tell... tell everyone in here something odd is in the room."
Spoiler:
In case you're wondering why I'm doing this, it's to show a point about Clara I missed before (her enormous weakness to magicka, about 200% by Oblivion standards) and also to set the scene for some dark forces. Vum, feel free to kill me if I'm wrecking the RP.

Spoiler:
Kill you? No. As a matter of fact you've set the scene perfectly. ;)
Samuel watched as a girl entered the room, and collapsed. He knew that she was of the Apprentice birthsign, as he had spoken to her briefly in the year previous. He remembered her name as being Clara, and as she collapsed, he realized that it was most likely the amount of Magicka in the room, as those born under the Apprentice birthsign are highly weakened by it. But there was barely enough Magicka in the room to make her collapse! Samuel looked around the room, all of the students were there, but in the time between Clara collapsing and Samuel looking around, the teacher had left the room. Samuel began to feel even more sick than before, and clutched his stomach. But managed to remain on his chair.

Kylar practically picked her up, still supplying magicka to her to keep her conscious for long enough to get to her room. She seemed light in his arms, but she drooped as she was weak none the less. Through a rather successful period of trial and error, Kylar excused himself as he entered the girl's dorm, as if carrying the weakened girl wasn't explaination enough. He sat her on her bed, and addressed her room-mates who were between classes, "She was going into the detention room and collapsed, I'm pretty sure it's something to do with her magicka resistance but there's something else that she couldn't quite tell me. I've given her some buffs to her resistance but it won't be enough to keep her like this for much longer so please do whatever you can, I don't doubt that you have something that'll help." He touched the girl's forehead. "Still cold" he murmured. As the other girls of the dorm set to the bedside with potions, Kylar made for the door, before turning back for his parting statement. "And please, tell me when she wakes up. I'd like to talk to her." Before the other girls could respond, he was already down the staircases and walking his way back down to the corridor. "I needed to get out of there.... Nine forbid if I had shown emotion". Then a warm, comforting feeling enraptured him, and to himself noted "I just met an angel." The smile returned to his face, and he slowed his pace so that the feeling would go on a little longer, but his mind closed the door to his emotion once more. "Now. Where was I?" He remembered the horrified look on the angel's face... and the dark ambiguoty of her speech... and ran.
"Go to hell, Carolina!"

"By the nine..." Samuel muttered. He knew he used some magic, but not that much! He didn't quite know where to look. He just looked at everyone, and noticed his 'pet' and Samuel. "Come here," he said and the creature ran to him, and into his hands. He suddenly felt some power enter him. What kind he didn't know, and it wasn't much, but it was there. "What are you?" He asked, knowing it wouldn't reply...Hopefully.

Clara awoke in her bedto see Professor Nastaren and a couple of girls around her. Her head was still spinning from the incident, but she was coherent enough to know she was in big trouble.
"Well Miss Vakerian," sneered Nastaren in her shrill cackle, "I expected you to honour your promise for at least a week, but it seems you can't even be trusted to hold back your primal energies for that long. And you thought you could hide it from me?"
"What?" replied Clara with some strength. It felt almost as if the magic was slipping out of her body at a rapid rate. "I needed to! I might have died!"
"Such nonsense," interrupted Nastaren, "there is absolutely nothing in that classroom. Nobody else was affected, just you, surprise surprise. If there was any harmful magic in there I would have picked up on it straight away. The intensity is only slightly above that of the rest of the school."
"But I'm... I'm weaker to magic than you," said Clara, evidently annoyed at admitting her weakness. "Even if..."
"That does not change the matter at hand!" replied Nastaren angrily, "I would have felt it regardless. When you were brought here I noticed a lot of agressive magicka flowing through you. The absence of the substance in the detention room, coupled with your moderate gift with Destruction and history of misbehaviour suggests that you purposely filled your system with the substance to escape doing any schoolwork. As we cannot risk you endangering your life again, we have issued you a ring that temporarily stunts your magicka. If it is removed, we will know. I have already drained you of all magic. As your temper suggests you have fully recovered, you are to proceed to your next lesson and continue with your studies. You have also been issued after-school detentions for the next week."
By now, Clara was seething with fury. When Nastaren began to walk away, she actually attempted to fling a fireball at the Altmer. But her reserves were completely dry. She was alone, grounded, in a school where the only friendly people were those she barely knew. But she needed to tell someone what she really suspected. Despondent, she slowly moved towards Language, where she hoped she'd find someone she could trust.

After a while, Samuel decided that he had to do something. He felt responsible for what had happened, and wanted to apologize to Clara. "I'll be back," was all he said before casting Chameleon and walking out of the detention room, and down the corridor towards the girl's dormitories. He decided to leave the strange creature outside, so another incident wouldn't happen if it was involved. It not, it didn't matter if he let it go Samuel figured.
When he reached the girl's dormitories, he found Clara's room empty, to his amazement. "Great. I don't know her schedule. Guess I'll have to wait for her," He thought, then added out loud, "Man, if I wasn't about to apologize, I could pull the ultimate prank. Ah well."

Dro-virr was oblivious to the incident that happened just next to him as he had his head stuck in his book. Trying to figure out the movements and mental thoughts needed to cast a wall of fire. When he realised his neck had begun cramping he stood up to stretch. Only to see that Kylar and Samuel (I_am_one) had dissapeared. Only the other Samuel (Vum) remained, yet he was clutching his stomach looking like he was about to faint. Hastily he closed his book and headed to Samuel. "This one asks if you are feeling alright, You look as if you will faint."

Samuel looked up as he heard a Khajiit's voice near him.
"This one asks if you are feeling alright, You look as if you will faint."
"I-I'm...fine." With this Samuel doubled over in pain and fell off his chair. The pain was unbearable, and Samuel could feel himself about to vomit. He crawled to the window and stuck his head out, trying to get some fresh air into his body. After a few minutes of deep breaths, the pain subsided and Samuel staggered back over to his chair. He looked at the Khajiit and smiled, before passing out.

Dro-virr reacted instantly and caught Samuel before he hit his head on the ground. He felt his forehead: He is burning up, Dro-virr thought. He didn't know any restoration magic so the best thing he could do was to haul him to the infirmary. He struggled opening the doors with Samuel over his shoulder but someone else opened them for him. His magics tutor, a dunmer, Mr Tarton.
"By the nine Divines what is happening here Dro-virr," he asked in his throaty voice, shocked at the sight.
"Sir, Samuel has fainted and he's burning up," by now Dro-virr wasn't feeling so well either. Weakness begun running through his mucles and his vision blurred and darkened. He couldn't say concious and succumbed to whatever illness was striking him, slumping to the ground.

He woke in the boys dormitory, in his own bed. He tried to move but his head blossomed with pain. Slowly he looked around to see Samuel in his own bed as well. More pain grew in his head and he passed out, again.

Spoiler:
Nah, you're good.
Samuel woke in his bed in the dormitory, he was hot, very hot. And his head throbbed. His whole body ached and he could barely move. He heard a sound from his left and saw that the Khajiit that was with when he blacked out was waking up.
"W-What happened..?" Samuel asked, unsure as to why he had blacked out. There wasn't much magicka in that room, and the most that would have happened would have been Samuel throwing up. His head hurt to much to think, so he waited for an answer from the Khajiit.

Clara put absolutely no concentration into language. The Ayleids had made enormous developments into magic and architecture, and she had to spend her time learning their redundant language! However, there was something in the subject that currently interested her. At the back of the class was a set of scrolls. If she could find the right ones and draw on some magical energy of her own, she believed it would be possible to disable the ring without alerting Nastaren. Towards the end of the lesson, everybody crowded around a recently excavated Ayleid rune that had been donated to the school. Clara seized the opportunity and quickly flicked through the scrolls, gathering the ones she needed. She took advantage of the relatively docile teacher and claimed she needed a lie down back in her room from her earlier condition. Regardless of her recovery, something was still going on in that room. She couldn't find out what, especially in her current drained state. First she needed her powers back, then she needed to find somebody to help her. Just as she opened her door, she found Samuel standing there.
