That would be great. Then turtwis would get it in order too.

But anyway, turtwis, download and install the patches avaikable. It'll save you from a lot of trouble.

Good luck and success, turtwis. :D

============================

One thing I'd like to complain about is, I can't get Morrowind overrun with the Windows button. If I want to check something, I have to close down the whole game. Is this how it is, and must be, or is there a hotkey / key combination to put Morrowind into sleep... go over to Windows... and return? - Signed Desperate one.

I came up with the following solution which works for me:

Open up something. Anything. A browser, text document, whatever. Preferably something small so it doesn't suck up resources, so maybe the text document.
Use the good ol' "Alt + Tab" combination to switch screens.

I dunno why it won't shrink when there's nothing already open, because other games I play do, but oh well.

Awesome :D I always wondered why it crashed . Gets pretty annoying when you want to check things every 10 minutes.

There we have another thing I don't like about TES. You have to check on the UESP after every person you've killed if you're going to miss something (quests, unique items, unique training etc.). For the next game I suggest they add some kind of interface telling you what quests the character is involved in and stuff... but that would kind of ruin the atmosphere. What do you people think? Any other suggestion to make players less dependant of UESP on future games, without having characters immortal? Or maybe, instead of the weird die-get up-thing in Oblivion, maybe creatures shouldn't be able to attack important persons at all?

Thanks for your effort, Cactus. It worked once for me, but not after that - but I'm definitely having some kind of hardware problems, like my USBs wake up to 2.0 only after half an hour or one hour wait time... don't know what it is, there's something weird going on. :? maybe the Alt+Tab will work after some play time? But thanks. :D

EDIT: Half an hour later it worked... who knows... God? :? But cheers, and thanks.

EDIT II and III: It worked twice more... seems to work altogether... guess we can do a waltz around it? :D

Yes Sir (Ma'm?), the dialogues are sometimes confusing. Sometimes you have to click "something" in order to get it started... otherwise you may travel to the other side of earth just to notice, you can't do it at all. Like the case with the debt money of the lady in Ald'Ruhn, given by Fighters Guild in Vivec.

Another thing that should be improved is the apparel, i.e. clothing. I think you should be able to carry heavier armor in your backpack, than you are wearing. Right now, packing loot ends up with the most imaginary clothing, like a shoe on your left foot, and a heavy boot on the right one, or whatever. Clothing should be completely manual, not automatic.

Ugh, I have spoken. :D

that makes it too easy. and it'd be ridiculous. and it's not like oblivion doesn't already hold your hand too much.
Though I wouldn't mind REALLY important people being protected from random monster attacks, but that's it.

There's a difference between a legitimate and fake difficulty, you know.
Lost forever scenarios are NEVER cool.

You're right, we should have GPS tracking devices in TES.

I'm talking about the fact that it's possible for stuff to be messed up permanently without your consent, not the quest arrow which I usually turn off. (Select a different quest, that mean old arrow won't be there, and there's no effect on the gameplay other than that.)

My list (it's a relatively short (and specific) one:

Long loading times when starting a game or re-loading a save.

If you fortify your Personality, everyone who saw you like that will hate you when the effect wears off. Nearly all of Vivec's foreign quarter and the whole Balmora Mage's Guild hates me now.

Most Dunmer.

The Camonna Tong.

and those little ice-elves/dwarfs in Bloodmoon.

and finally, that I can't talk to any group in Solstheim if I'm not at that point in the quest. I trudged all the way up there (nearly died a few times until I learned to be more sneaky) to find someone who could teach me how to fortify specific skills. When I got there, the whole town said, "talk to our leader . . . Heart-fang something-or-other." When I talk to the leader, he says I have no business being there. I guess not until I've progressed a little bit in Bloodmoon's quest. I ran across a couple of other things like this too, on the lonely walk back south.

Once again I promote this mod:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... tail&id=24

======================================================

And, in information way, I found a mod that allows you to make notes in your Journal.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=2577

It requires Morrowind Enhanced 1.2, the link to that is in the link above.

It's not perfect, but way better than nothing.

Like Milder Despues said, pretty much . . . they're everywhere. And before I was sufficiently skilled enough with short blades, I could never hit them. Before I became a master of Alchemy, if even one of them saw me . . . I was as good as dead.

I know this may be a bit off the Reikling sub-topic, but a while back I found a guy complaining that Morrowind sucked because of the lack of fast travel when you are a vampire. Or something a long those lines. I have a recommendation, what if some bright fellow went and modded vampires to have wings. They have them in real world mythology and stuff, so why not add them to the game as well? This way, if you are a vampire with werewolf-ism, you can fly around much like the Ra'zac from Eragon and further terrify the poor, lonely, weak inhabitants of Vvardenfell. Just a suggestion though.
