how do you know some government is not trying to weaponize a virus somewhere eh?

Re: What's your zombie plan?
My Plan is a little specific to the area i live in but...
1) From wherever i find out their is a zombie attack, i collect my belongings and return home (if i am not all ready their), after that. Whilst i am at home i check the internet like facebook and msn, and warn people, i then specifcally choose close friends Join me, and tell them i will meet with them soon.
2) Get a car/Steal keys, whatever Im just getting transport of some sort.
3) Meet up with sed 'choosen close friends'.
4) Head over to Windrows Sports, which has weapons and other camping and survival equipment inside.
5) after we have collected sufficient Ammunition we head over to the local school which has more fences and security around it then Fort Knox. We stay their for awhile and wait for the rst of the world to be subdued by the Zombie invasion, meanwhile we will be living off rations from the school canteen.
6)For the first time in week we head down to the TA/Army centre, if it is unoccupied, we shall become the new occupents. We clear the area of any undead. And make use of the weapons inside the centre.
7) From the Army Cetnre, make communications with other groups of survivors and wait out for awhile.
- If all else fails, Run and dont look back

I live in a shell. I don't work, I don't watch television or read the news in any form, nor do I talk about current events. By the time I found out about zombies it'd be when I answered the door to see who was beating on it. In short, good bye all.

Re: What's your zombie plan?
You won't even have to worry about zombies. After all, zombies aren't herbivores.Cactus wrote:I live in a shell. You forget about zombie-cacti. Strictly plant-eaters risen from the browned shells of gutted cacti the world over.

Re: What's your zombie plan?
Different types of Zombies, depending on the disease/virus that creates them,
require different plans of attack.
And don't say that there aren't fast or smart zombies, there's just as many movies/video games with zombies
like that as there are slow/boring zombie movies/video games.
So really, like all survival plans, your zombie plans should depend on context, common sense, and instinct.
And don't forget the hell spawned zombies, common to Medieval Fantasy and the DooM franchise.
Those types usually don't spread a disease, and as long as you have Main Character/Plot Armor, you should be okay.

Re: What's your zombie plan?
I shall defeat the undead horde with this simple chant:
You nasty thing from beyond the dead,
No matter what you say or do,
Good things will never come to you!
*scrutinize the note more closely*
And no matter what is your black design, you can bet:
The goodness of the Light Ones will kick your— 'bad behind'?
*crumple note, toss it to the ground, and go to Plan B*
And just what is Plan B? I've got swords, kids. Note the plural form— swords. Not your piddly katana-behind-the-glass-countertop-at-the-knife-store kind of deal, either. The kind that will rust if you leave the blood on for too long, all because 1075 carbon steel provides a superior means to attain a more consistent heat treatment than "440 surgical stainless" or whatnot.
(Dark Spark Fun Fact: BBQ sauce is absolute murder to the finish of a longsword. Something to keep in mind if you're attacked by zombie cows or the like).

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Re: What's your zombie plan?
You know what would put a smile on my face? If you actually had an opportunity to use your "forged by the gods" swords then they all snap at the hilt like toy plastic ones. All kidding aside you should take a pic of your arsenal.Dark Spark wrote: And just what is Plan B? I've got swords, kids. Note the plural form— swords. I dont know what id do im sure it would be a play it by ear thing. I would raid the liquor store as ive already got guns and friends with guns and ammo and such. Then id throw said friends in the back of my truck running over zombies while blasting slayer. Man thatd make me cooler than anybody any of you know.

Re: What's your zombie plan?
Blunt weapons are far better to use than
blades, as main the objective to kill any zombie
is to destroy the head.
The only way you can achieve this with a blade is
to achieve a decapitation, and unless you are extremely
proficient and have the arm strength to cut all
the way through, this is freaking useless.
Also, even if you have the godlike abilities,
you miss the fact that the infected or cursed
blood is going to get all over you.
Have fun being a zombie!
Personally I think a crowbar or hammer would work the best,
since they require little skill and serve other purposes.
Plus they don't need reloading!
Although shotguns are on my list of necessities...

A crowbar would be perfect! Good for bashing in heads, plus it can be used to pry open a door, if needed.

I think duck tape would be handy. A taped up immobile zombie is a zombie that is not chasing or aggrandizing you.

Spoiler:

Indeed! Besides, a zombie covered in duck tape would use time trying to remove the sticky tape, giving you time to kill the zombie.Vivec's Tears wrote:I think duck tape would be handy. A taped up immobile zombie is a zombie that is not chasing or aggrandizing you.
Doin my own, thang, and if you got a problem with that
