Exceptionally beautiful, Snehk. I love your star/universe motif. I sincerely hope that one day you throw these together in a little book; they'd be a great addition to anyone's collection.

Re: Post your creative stuff here!
Thank you! I'm planning to do so, first by publishing an e-book online and then looking for a publisher for physical copies, but I think that I'll have to write a bit more. And I will surely gladly accept help of a skilled illustrator!
Here is a new poem! It is different in its composition and conclusion, but I hope that You will all like it.
Edit: Well, I don't think that it really fits with the rest of the poems for this book, and my original idea was much different. I'll rewrite it.

^Really good, Snehk! I like your style of wording; it's got that 'old english' flair about it.
To me, I took it as a man who falls asleep and dream travels to his deceased lady friend, but is snatched away again upon waking.

Re: Post your creative stuff here!
Thank you! This might come from experiences with other germanic languages and finding information about old and middle English.
My first intent was to write about overcoming great obstacles to reunite with a lost lover. It ended like that, just a whole lot darker. The great thing about poetry is that you can interpret it in many ways, and there are no wrong interpretations.
I spend about ten hours at university almost daily, studying two faculties at the same time. This makes me pretty much pumped out and keeps my Muse from showing up, but once I'll get used to my new schedule, I'll most likely get back to work on these!

Re: Post your creative stuff here!
I think it's bolder than your other compositions, but that doesn't make it bad by any means. And I would argue it still fits in with the theme, but in a much more subtle way. Reminds me of the whole loop of the universe: always was, always will be, etc. etc.Snehk wrote:Edit: Well, I don't think that it really fits with the rest of the poems for this book, and my original idea was much different. Bravo, I really enjoyed it.

Re: Post your creative stuff here!
Thank you! Your opinions are a big motivating factor for me. Maybe I'll write something over the weekend!
EDIT: A new sonnet! This one keeps the Shakespearean formula of ABAB CDCD EFEF GG rhyme pattern and iambic pentameter (10 syllable lines). I also decided to use dream vision allegory in my next few poems with a bit darker tone.
Yet another edit: Two new poems venturing into the darker themes.

A few friends and I are doing a D&D campaign online over Roll20 and we decided partway through to stream it. Here's a playlist of what we've got so far!
The stream messed up on the first episode and made my voice super quiet, but it was fixed for episode 2.

Thank you!
I decided to write more and go for a book release, since I need only a few pages more to get it through Amazon self publishing.

Super rough scribble of Lucien Lachance and Shadowmere because I'm sentimental trash. Going to do a proper digital version of it soon.

@DikkeVetteVlinder: Lovely pictures! You're v talented. ^-^
@joyescape: There's no way to upload images from your device, sorry. You can get one of the mods to change it so you can add links, or you can just put up a link with a space before the .com, I believe.

Re: Post your creative stuff here!
It's been a while and I went through some tough stuff lately, but I managed to get into Google's bookstore partnership and I had published "Starmakers" there! I will upload a link to it once it passes verification. Here are two latest additions that should make it all complete!
