On the bright side, I do have some limited access to another computer that belongs to a relative.

Buy a USB adapter and plug it into a desktop then take the hard drive out of your laptop and plug it into the adapter. Get your docs off the hard drive using the desktop. Problem solved. (As far as the docs go anyway.)

I'm Ichiryuu, 21, from Italy. I study philosophy and I generally like finding serious philosophical questions in popular culture products like videogames, tv series, comics.

Hi all,
I’m a new member on the forum but have been a uesp user for many years. I first started playing Morrowind over 10 years ago and had some exchanges with an early UESP moderator back in 2003.
Since then, I played oblivion, but never finished it as I ran into pc and disc problems.
Apart for the Elder Scrolls and videogames in general, I also like reading, both fiction non-fiction, and enjoy tv shows, movies, listening to music, and just like MissKokane, I’m an introvert, vegan, and instead of a cat, a dog has me (she likes owing my lap just like a cat, actually).
I’ll see you around on the forum 

2003? That would put you well into the pre-wiki era of the site! It's always nice to see you guys around. I feel like I can only say thank you for your support for over a decade, people like you are why we get to enjoy our reputation as one of the oldest sites on the Internet.

What kind of dog do you have? Not as many dogs can sit in your lap lap like a cat can without causing you a bit of discomfort.

yes, it was the pre-wiki form of the website, with those dark tiles as a background. I used to come to search for clarity regarding some quests and UESP has been very helpful in this area as well as explaining a few things I could do within the game. It's the one website that I keep going back to when I forget certain things, because I don't play these games (morrowind & oblivion) as often as I'd like, not having a proper gaming pc - I use an old pc which I stripped down from all it's other content.

My dog is a Cotton de Tuléar, an offshoot of the Bishon. She's a little shadow, following us everywhere, always somewhere in our way, and as soon as one sits, she asks to come on the lap, quite insistently. All her 5.6 kgs get so heavy after a while, it is uncomfortable indeed, especially since I have back problems ; In spite of this, she's a love and very funny almost all the time, so I bare it till I cannot anymore and then I put her down to her mound of pillows.
