For me the Aedra are all kind of... meh. I don't really feel enough about any of them to be able to rank them.

Mmm.. sadly the Aedra never caught my favor, in part to the fact that few stand out amongst their ranks, where as the Daedra seem to vary drastically<_< Anyways enough lollygagging

I do however wish to give some honorable mentions, for if this was a list of et'Ada, then Magnus would have be featured, and if we really didn't exclude such and went by godly beings, Padomay would be at the top. On the other front, I would have included Nocturnal or Sanguine but I really just couldn't see either holding more favor than even Hircine >_< *In regards to why Sheogorath is upon the top >_> this has been so long before the Shivering Isle's DLC. While personality alone holds merit, it's his interactions with fellow princes or events in the past that interest me so

Not to derail the thread, or start a discussion, but the simplest answer to this is that the word "Akatosh" is probably just one of several named the Ayleids had for Auri-El.

2. Tiber Septim (The next game should provide a quest for his faction. Or better yet, he appears to intercede in the Empire's darkest hour).
3. Kynareth (I love the nature faction in any game.)
4. Arkay (What's his true origin? The god of birth and death, the cycle of things, can be the focus of an interesting quest).
5. Dibella (Her quest in Skyrim was fun and intriging. I hope to see another Dibella quest in the next TES game.)


Daedra:

1. Azura (I always have a good time playing her quests and she seems to be one of the more interactive gods.)
2. Vivic (I loved Morrowind. Enough said.)
3. Meridia (I'd like to see her faith explored more in the next stand alone game.)
4. Mehrunes Dagon (I love quests/games fueled by an evil deity as the antagonist.)
5. Molag Bal (Same thinking as Mehrunes Dagon.)
