Yeah, things really have slowed down a lot. Should I skip ahead in WOD yet?

Things have certainly slowed down a whole damn lot, which is kind of disappointing. i think it has something to do with a lot of the old players leaving or becoming inactive, and all the active folks feeling a bit disheartened towards RPs because of that.

GWI will have to hang on a moment, as the majority of its playerbase (3 of 5) are away or inactive. Not giving up on it or anything, I'm still excited to carry on with it.

I don't mind battles though I'd be lying if I said I was a massive fan of them.

I think it'd be easier for everyone if enemies were mooks and players made up their own fights, save for bosses and all that. THAT and if the focus was on the character interaction more than bashing people's heads in.

So I've never really done a roleplay. I mean I've kind of dabbled in D&D a while ago, and I'd like to think I'm creative enough to do it. So I'd like to get involved with one. Any kind really. I'll look around on the forums and read more about it but if anyone can tell me or PM me a place to start or what to do it would be much appreciated. Oh and if it matters I don't have a computer with internet access. All I use is my phone with like dial-up connection it seems like.

GRDT: I use my phone primarily as well. You might want to check the stickied threads in the Roleplay sub-forum, like Roleplaying Tips and the Rp sub-forum rules. As far as open RPs, the Current RPs thread should get you pointed in the right direction!

^I can't believe I'm going to say this<_< but I find myself interested.. just the same as I was with C&G. I can credit this to lore.. so I may or may not join. Considering my current activity level, I don't know if it's a wise choice of action
