Re: General Discussion
Some of the lore calls him the "Lightning American," and they say that he was in the American Military... but that was before they really separated Pokemon from the real world, but we should continue this in the Pokemon thread.Derp53 wrote:Which army was that guy in anyway? Yeah, not gonna deny it, Nintendo may have taken some inspiration with Surge's character design.Musicman247 wrote:That's Guile from Street Fighter.

Guile was originally my favorite character (back in the SF II Turbo days) but nowadays I use Balrog.

Re: General Discussion
"It was the start of summer in 2014. I had a decent thing going for me, a job, a flat, a messy pile of PS3 games. But of course, that was before they approached me. Their faces held no emotion as they spoke, 'Take these,' they said to me as they placed two bags in my hands. 'Do not open them. Just take the bags to your flat. When we wish to retrieve the bags, we'll find you.' They were fairly vague, no details about the contents of the bags, no dates for when the bags were to be picked up or who would do so. It all seemed too fishy to be true, I mean, this kind of thing only happens in movies... Right?Thelastdovah wrote:*insert Kajeet has wares joke here*
I'm considering getting Two Worlds 2 as iv'e seen the GOTY for £18 and i will have some spare cash due to reasons that i won't disclose on here. Is it any good? I've read Eurogamer's review and it sounds decent but i have been burned by EG in the past*
*It was their Dragon Age 2 review that burned me
"I was dead wrong. Curiousity got the better of me as soon as I entered my flat. I peered into the bags without a moment's thought towards the future consequences of my actions. And there, within the bag, two eyes stared back at me... Oh god, it was horrifying..."
A man sitting across from Dove leaned forward in his chair. "We know what was in the bags," the man said. "So let's skip to the part when you discovered the bags were missing later that night..."

I'm currently experiencing my first thunderstorm at the apartment. It's weird because it sounds so different on the ceiling and looks totally different when lightning flashes outside - since I have trees right outside my window, I can see all the leaves lit up and stuff.

When you hear the sound of thunder, dont you get too scared. Just grab your thunder buddy, and say these magic words: '[&@%!] you, Thunder. You can suck my dick. You can't get me, Thunder, because you're just Gods farts'.

Re: General Discussion
If I can be completely honest for a moment, when I was growing up I legitimately thought that rain was God's tears and thunder was him pounding his fists in frustration. I didn't like the rain, so I tried my best not to make God cry. That wasn't something my parents told me to explain it, I just came up with it by myself and it made sense to me. Just one thing on the list of oddities from when I was a child.HatofMadness wrote:You can't get me, Thunder, because you're just Gods farts'.

Re: General Discussion
Wouldn't it be 002 and below? If you say the Bulbs is at the top? And is there a farfetch' with the pokemon? Cause if so I'd sport that. I only post from my phone cause I live way out in the sticks. Otherwise I'd use a paint program and make a stormtrooper helmet that has cat ears. That by the way is always at the top of my wish list. Stormtrooper helmet with cat ears.
I was meaning for my avatar if that wasn't clear. Once I reread what I posted I wasn't quite specific
