\o/ Does this mean that WOD is ready to go and all it needs is for a start date to be sorted out along with the notes on NPCs to be rewritten due to unfortunate circumstances?

Considering others have still to make a sheet, I doubt we're ready quite yet.

The only other person who expressed interest is Weasel so we should wait and see if he wants to join or not.

I'm really not surprised that nobody went for a Nosferatu. That's not criticising you guys, I don't mind what clan you make and you shouldn't avoid picking a clan just because somebody else is using it. But looking at the 5 clans Nosferatu is probably the least appealing.

Oh, I was strongly considering going Nosferatu, but I felt that Gangrel fit much better with the sort of character I had going. More feral and savage than human. Base instincts. Survival driven.

Just keep in mind that those sterotypes aren't universally true, would be an awfully dull setting if they were. But it does give you an idea of your average member of the clan. Plenty of Gangrel are calm, collected and well spoken. Just because a Nosferatu comes off as terrifying doesn't mean they can't be one of the nicest people you ever meet. Daeva are usually charming doesn't mean they can't be hot headed and have little regard for human life. Your clan doesn't define your character.

True. Still, the clan power and everything feels better suited for the image of my character I have in my head.

The fact that Mekhet are secretive is very much a contrast to Kris.

I chose Ventrue as I felt it suited Leanne and it'll be interesting to see how a Ventrue Garda will turn out. That said, i didn't really pay much attention to the other clans once i made my mind up about the Ventrue one. :-/

I chose Daeva because I like their creativeness that is innately disturbing. I mean yes, I do so love my pretty characters but I really wanted to make an artist this time..

Is it possible to leave our reason for being alone on the streets open, so it can be revealed later?
Because my character wouldn't exactly be alone on a street at night, unless there was something important going on beforehand that made it that way... Thus it may be an opportunity for character development if it's later revealed to someone.

Well it is set in December, the sun is down from about 16:15 in the afternoon to 08:30 the following morning. Although you had to be abducted before 11. That is why I set it in December, the nights are long. If I set in in June then the sun would only be down for like 7 hours, that is much less time to do stuff.

I do want you to tell me why they were on the streets that night. Could be walking the dog, out Christmas shopping, off to sell cocaine, whatever. Could just be going out to their car after work. And because it is December it is a wide space of time when you could be out. It gives information about the character but also helps with other stuff, I mean if they were off to meet with friends then said friends would wonder why you never turned up. If you really don't want to reveal the reason to the other PCs then you can PM me it.

Well, here we go. Sorry it took so long, folks.
Spoiler:
Name: James Brennan
Sex: Male
Age: 28
Clan: Nosferatu
Physical Appearance: James bears a clean, well-groomed look, typical of one with such a limitless supply of wealth. His hair is a smooth chestnut, carefully slicked back tall, with smoothed sides (much like this). James' face is entirely clean-shaven, with not a hint of stubble or a single misplaced hair. The man's eyes are an almond shaped, dark blue-grey. His face shows a clear hardiness and ruggedness, that may or may not be a simple farce. Beyond his good looks, one can immediately tell from his look that although he may be attractive, he is rather uncaring, unattached, and self-absorbed. James is nothing but a rich pretty boy, his face is vacant of any non-materialistic thought; he sees money, people, and women especially, as nothing but commodities meant to serve his unquenchable greed.
His clothing is always of the finest brand, sparing no expense. The man dresses to the occasion, in some cases overdressing to minor events.
C: 8
A: 7
S: 7
P: 5
I: 4
E:4
Uncommon Discipline (Pick the One Related to your Clan): Nightmare
Common Discipline (Pick any two): Obfuscate, Celerity
Money (Exact Amount. On person, in bank and in other storage and where stored)): On Person: 200 euros in cash. In Bank: Checking holds 500,000 euro. His father's Swiss trust account holds 2 billion, locked down and inaccessible. Other Storage: James had the rest of his money (3 billion dollars) cashed in for a hoard of solid gold bars, locked inside a well-guarded vault in his rural Massachusetts mansion.
Starting Clothing: A fine, dark grey suit he wears, pricing in easily at several thousand dollars. Looks like this.
Accommodation: James has one house in Fiji, another in Aspen, Colorado, a condo in Rome, and his main mansion in Massachusetts. While staying in Ireland, he is living with a friend and coworker in their spacious Dublin condo.
Other Belongings: James always carries an old gold Spanish escudo in his breast pocket. Oftentimes he carries a 4-inch fixed blade knife, but James was not carrying it the night of his kidnapping.
Background: James was born into money, specifically that of a large oil trade empire. The Brennan family has been in the business of oil since the late 1800's, and the fortune and company controls have been passed down from generation to generation. James had always lived a good life, never one experience that wasn't perfect, and the result of him being groomed by money throughout his childhood was only worsened by his severely torn family life. Countless times James' parents would end up in the news because of domestic abuse scandals or his father's constant racketeering with OPEC. James' father would go on trial for all his misdeeds, only to turn around and pay bail, escaping prison scot-free, only to abuse his limitless wealth once again.
Obscured by mass media, James' private life and past is largely unknown, all that can be said is the horrors he witnessed as a child have, unlike most people, caused him to willingly follow in his father's footsteps.
When first inheriting the company from his father at the age of 21, James destroyed BCP's stock within a few weeks, making several terrible decisions, only leading to the near-downfall of the petroleum giant, and a slump in the oil economy. His father had to intervene to pull the company off the ground, stealing money from employee pension funds to revive the dying corporation. Once the company suddenly received a boost, private investigations began to ensue as the relatively quick recovery of BCP was seen as suspicious. Eventually, major media outlets discovered evidence of Walter Brennan's thievery, and he was put on trial once again... But this time, with no option for bail. When Walter Brennan was found guilty, he was given a 25 year sentence, which he will be lucky to live out at the age of 65. Before leaving for his prison sentence, Walter called for the bank to lock all of his bank fortune into a trust fund, that cannot be accessed by anyone except him or his wife. James soon after fell into a slump, and begun doing hard drugs, namely cocaine, and throwing massive costly parties that would trash his family mansion. The remaining 1 billion he was left with he blew within a remarkably short time, and is only left with a mere 500,000 euros.
James has now given up the reins of the company to a CEO, who he willing pays only a small fortune of his company, so that he has no responsibility for BCP (Brennan Cooperative Petroleum). Brennan's life today is only travel, partying, one-night stands, and cocaine, all of which he feels no guilt for. He has temporarily moved in with his friend and coworker Cheryl Peterson in Ireland, a location he had always dreamed of seeing, but never had time for when the company was weighing him down.
Why were out on streets alone when kidnapped: James was out for a walk, curiously with no personal security accompanying him.
Other details that don’t fit into existing categories: After his transformation, James appears corpse-like, his flesh in an ever-rotting state. His muscles are falling off of his bones, and there is a putrid odor emanating from beneath his clothing. His face is the most intact part of him, but it is still rotted. It's rotted, but not quite as bad as Harvey Dent... at least on the face.
Relationships (Friends and Family, NPCS and PC):
Hidden:
PC or NPC: NPC I guess
How they are related to PC: Father
Name: Walter Brennan
Sex: Male
Age: 67
Other Details: Is an old, selfish [&@%!].

PC or NPC: NPC
How they are related to PC: Friend & Coworker
Name: Cheryl Peterson
Sex: Female
Age: 27
Other Details: Has black hair, is an Irish native. Extremely beautiful.

PC or NPC: NPC
How they are related to PC: Mother
Name: Margaret Brennan
Sex: Female
Age: 65
Other Details: A platinum blonde woman who overindulges in her detained husband's fortune. She wears expensive furs and jewelry, and has had a fair deal of plastic surgery.

This is my fault not yours and for that I'm really sorry.

I knew I would regret not clearly having a limit on money in the OP, I did in S&S and I do here. I just assumed nobody would have a crazy amount of money. I'm sorry, but that's too much money. I know it makes sense with the character, I do. The problem is that it completely screws up the game. Also kind of weird carrying only dollars in Ireland but still. But billions of dollars? I don't want to see characters with more than €500,000. With billions he could just hire Blackwater or someone to do everything for him, buy every other PC the best gear ever. There would be no tension at all, you could just throw money at everything to solve almost every problem. Almost any reward you could get would be pointless when you could just buy anything.

Well just because his dad has loads of money doesn't mean he is going to give his son access to hundreds of thousands of euro at any given time.

Yeah, I figured. I just wanted to see if it'd work or not. My backup plan is that Walter locked all the non-physical bank money in a trust fund.
I can stick with the 500,000 euro, and I didn't notice the dollars vs. euros cash thing. :P

Sorry again Weasel, I should have put something in the OP, it's my fault. I've added something now anyway. But everything other than the money looks fine, so change that and it should be alright.

Yeah it is TLD. A billion dollars is only a measly €726,586,000. Can't buy anything worthwhile with that. Then again that isn't an infinite amount of money, plenty of lottery winners go bankrupt within years.

As a side note, I actually know a James Brennan.

----

Right, I see you edited your sheet. The money in the trust fund is fine, he can't access it. The gold is fine as it is pretty much like the trust fund, money he has but doesn't really have convenient access to. Everything appears to be fine to me. I'll add you now.

Barring unforeseen events we'll be starting sometime this weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday.) I'll send you all PMs when we do start.

It'll probably be closed by the time you'd wake up and get there. Also because you're vampires you can't eat Tayto anymore.

RP has started all Out of Character talk in hide/spoilers from now on.
The fledglings had stakes pulled out of their hearts and woke up. They were on their knees, their hands were bound behind their backs, they were gagged and had black sacks over their heads. "Thanks to the efforts of our Sheriff and his deputies the Belial's Brood presence in this city has been eliminated. However in their destruction of the coterie, Mister Bauer came upon a group of fledglings who appeared to have been part of a mass embrace. No doubt they were planning to use them against us. Based on their appearance it would seem likely they were taken from the streets and had no prior contact with the coterie. However they were still embraced by the Infernalists and as you know, no Childer may be Sired in this city without my express permission. As your Prince, it is my job to make these difficult decisions. So, I have decided..." said a female voice in a professional tone coming from just in front of the fledglings. She was in the middle of a sentence when she was interrupted. "This is [&@%!] and you know it! You said it yourself, they had nothing to do with the Brood." shouted one male voice in an angry tone. The Prince resumed speaking in the same professional tone she was using before. "As I was saying, I have decided to spare these Childer. They can prove their fealty to our society and rejection of their sires' ways by dealing with the Draugr that has recently emerged. Bring them with me, I'll discuss more with them in private."

The fledglings were risen to their feet and lead into a back room. Finally they had the sacks and gags taken off one by one, but their hand bindings in the form of cable ties remained. As the sacks and gags were being taken off the Prince spoke. "I would have taken you to my office, but if one of you does try something foolish I'd rather not have to deal with the mess. I'm sure you have a lot of questions." With the sacks off the fledglings could see they were in some kind of janitorial room with no windows, they were standing in a row side by side with the door behind them. Also behind them standing by the door was a man who looked like he was in his 20's wearing a purple tracksuit and holding a golden Uzi. Standing in front of them was a woman in who looked like she was in her 30s and was wearing a red dress with flat black shoes. Next to her was a man who looked like he was in his 40's wearing a black suit jacket, black suit trousers, black dress shoes, a white dress shirt and no tie. The fledglings could sense something about the man in the tracksuit, the woman in the dress and in each other that was absent in the man in the suit. They didn't know it but that was the beast that was now within them, the man in the suit was the only one in the room who wasn't a vampire. Ryan recognised the man in the suit, he was Aiden Riley, the owner of Rouge a nightclub on the south side of the city near St Stephen's Green. They had never talked but Ryan knew of him and his nightclub, said nightclub carried a very gothic theme. Ryan also knew the man was older than he looked, Rouge had been opened in the 70's and Aiden had been the owner since the 90's. Ryan knew Aiden was actually in his early 60s. "I'm Naoise Stoker and this is Aiden Riley, I'm the Prince of... wait, I know you. You're Ryan O'Connor. Viktor, you didn't think it was worth mentioning one of them was Ryan O'Connor?" said Naoise. "I didn't know who he was. If I had." said Viktor.

Starting off in a similar way to the vidya game I believe yes?
Kris shook his head and took a quick look around. "Uff. One hell of a party to end up like.. oh." That was when he noticed the others. "I don't recall seeing you guys on the dance floor before.." He murmured quietly to himself, turning his gaze to Ryan. "Dad's gonna be sooo mad at you."

Yes, it is. If you've never played Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, do.
