Mania wears red Tribunal Robes, the Cloak of Volsung (I think), and the Pendant from the Arise - Chapter 1 - The Black Sacrament mod. She wields mostly fire and fear spells. Her build is The Fearmonger by Henson.
Winter wears Mystic Elven Armor, as well as Mystic Elven War Axe + Sword. I don't know why she isn't wearing a cloak. Her build is The Volkihar by Mason.
Aria wears the Dovahkiin Mercenary Armor, an Amulet of Talos and wields a Nord Hero Greatsword. She's a standard Light Armor + Two-Handed build with some investment into Alchemy to reach 100% Shout Cooldown Reduction.

Enchanted glass armor (with stat-regenerating boosts), and both Chillrend and Dragonbane, with a conjured bow if needed.

The Orc:
Topless furs, iron gauntlets (smithing perk), leather boots and a circlet. I've started lugging around Orcish armor on long trips in case things get a bit hairy, but I'll sell it if I need to drop the weight. I also have an Ancient Nord helmet that I'll occasionally wear, but that is just because it looks awesome on him. Most has some form of enchantment, but nothing is very strong.
Ring of fire resistance and a necklace that boosts archery.
Swinging an Orcish mace of Lightning in the primary hand and switch between an Elven dagger (not enchanted) and a Skyforge steel war axe with soul trap in the off hand. Elf bow, but primarily for hunting or fighting dragons. If you're on the ground and I can get to you, I won't use ranged attacks. That's for sissies (per the Orc).

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Normally with my main nord tank I go ebony mail, boots, and gauntlets and throw on Otar with an enchanted ring and amulet to top it off. With my mages, I always wear steel plate gauntlets and boots and Archmage's robes, and with my dunmer ranger I have a gilded elven armor set and stormcloak officer armor set. My wood elf thief, lastly, just uses the full guild master armor set, it works well enough if your character isn't a warrior or fighter of some kind.

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Ive recently acquired elven gilded armour of the noble knight (22 extra light armour points) , a glass shield and a drainheart sword. The sword inflicts less damage than my usual mace, but it looks so cool (bluey green, transparent and ghostly) that I like to use it from time to time (it also drains 15 stamina points).

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
My, how things change. The furs are long gone and the Orc is now decked out in Orcish armor from head to toe. I just obtained the Ebony perk and had two Ebony war axes in a chest at Lakeview. I've now upgraded them to be far stronger than the sword and Skyforge Steel War Axe that I've been using. Also hauling an Ebony bow with me and have begun using it more in fights than I have before. Especially when outnumbered.
I'm anxious to use the Ebony war axes. They look really cool and they'll look even better with a little bit of bandit blood on them.

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
I like to keep my characters' equipment somewhat underpowered.
Character #1 Breton stealth-mage, female, level 78.
Hide armor, boots, bracers - legendary tempered, unenchanted. (I just downgraded this character's armor from studded.)
Circlet fortifying Conjuration and Illusion
Ring fortifying Health and Magicka Regen
Amulet of Dibella (or Amulet of Mara to check for marriage interest)
Shield of Solitude for leveling Block and for emergencies
Elven dagger and bow - legendary tempered, unenchanted
Elven arrows
Various regular attire, skimpy tavern wear, enchanted blacksmithing apron
Vaermina robes for sleeping
Character #2 Redguard stealthy destruction warrior, female, level 50-ish.
Leather cuirass, boots, bracers - legendary-tempered, unenchanted
Circlet fortifying Destruction
Ring fortifying Health Regen
Amulet of Zenithar (or Amulet of Mara to check for marriage interest)
Shield of Solitude
Scimitar - legendary tempered, unenchanted
Steel dagger - legendary tempered, unenchanted
Ebony bow - untempered, unenchanted
Steel and ebony arrows
Various regular attire, Radiant Raiment Fine Clothing, enchanted blacksmithing apron
Vaermina robes for sleeping
Edit: Both characters occasionally use Bound Battleaxe for leveling Two-Handed.

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
I'm starting a new game soon enough and overwriting my old character. But my old character (Female Breton) wears:
Casual Wear (so basically whenever I'm not in combat:)
Thieves Guild Armour, Thieves Guild Gauntlets and Ahzidal's Boots of Waterwalking.
And Combat Wear:
Masque of Clavicus Vile, Nordic Carved Armour, Nordic Carved Boots and Nordic Carved Gauntlets. Then in combat wields Dawnbreaker/Mehrunes' Razor in the right hand and magic in the left hand. Sometimes uses a steel crossbow too.

So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Martin - Imperial, sword-wielding mage, level 83
Martin's been wearing Dawnguard Heavy Armor for the past 200 hours or so, except for Imperial Legion missions when he wears his Imperial Heavy Armor. But since he's spending so much time on Solstheim, I've literally just (as in a few minutes before typing this post) made him a set of Stalhrim Heavy Armor instead.
All of his armours are enchanted the same way:
Armor - Health +74 points, Health regenerates 37% faster.
Boots - Stamina +74 points, Stamina regenerates 37% faster.
Gauntlets - Magicka +74 points, Carry Weight +44 points
These are paired with:
Circlet of Battle Magic - a cheap copper & sapphire circlet enchanted with Destruction and Conjuration spells cost 29% less to cast.
Most of the time he also wears:
Silver Sapphire Necklace enchanted with Restoration costs 29% less to cast and Magic Resistance +23%.
Silver Amethyst Ring enchanted with Magicka regenerates 71% faster and Carry Weight +42 points. (I should make a new one!)
He also uses the Locket of Saint Jiub from the quest in Dawnguard - Carry Weight +50 points, Stamina +50 points.
His weapons are Skyforge Swords, one enchanted with Icy Shocks (40 points of Frost damage, 40 points of Shock damage), the other with Fiery Sparks (10 second Soul Trap, 22 points of Fire damage, and 40 points of Shock damage). He also has an Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow enchanted the same way, which he uses with various Exploding Dwarven Bolts, unless the enemy is a low-level Draugr in which case normal Dwarven Bolts will do.
I like Enchanting
? All of my characters get their Enchanting skills to level 100 very quickly.
I'll write about my other characters next time I play them.

A full suit of self-crafted and -upgraded Dwemer plate, complete with Dwemer cloak from the incomparable Cloaks of Skyrim mod. Wielding a Dwemer battleaxe for close work, Lightning Bolt to pester dragons with, and putting a crossbow through its paces as a game hunting weapon.
Still looking for a fire enchant for my weapon and health enchant for my armor to help survive the next level bracket (10-20).

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Sylmirie, Altmer Conjurer, wears (currently) Expert Robes of Destruction because of the fire power.
Master robes are next on her list. She wields daedra, a sharp glare, and an elven sword given to her by husband Aicantar. Its enchanted with fire damage. Why does a mage carry a sword? Because she grew up taking sword lessons in Summerset, of course.
Felina Imhatius, Imperial, Listener to the Night Mother. She wears fur armor because it looks the best on her. Fortify magicka enchanted. She also wears a magicka hood. She has several tricks up her sleeves: illusion spells, conjured weapons, a crossbow, and she loves to raise the dead. They are her number one weapon.
Lieth, Bosmer Thief/Harbinger to the Companions. She wears Boethiah's ebony mail as a reminder of Njada, the woman she sacrificed for the armor. She wields her ebony bow enchanted by friend Marcurio with fire. She also carries an ebony war axe for those times when she feels...hacky.

Here I was thinking I was the only one crazy enough to put on a nightgown... My Bosmer wears black robes to bed when she's travelling with a companion, camping in cold weather or staying at a rural inn offering little privacy, otherwise she sleeps naked. She's got herself some decent gear since my last post here and mostly wears Full Leather Armor now (=Requiem's version of Immersive Armors' Ranger Armor, basically hide with a hood and better stats than regular leather), swapping it for IA Crimson Vagabond Armor when travelling up north and Thieves Guild armor for, um, special purposes; she also has three cloaks to change between, one enchanted with Fortify Health, one with Resist Magic and an unenchanted one to wear to town for aesthetic reasons. Her main weapon is an Orsimer Chieftain Bow from Immersive Weapons used with various assorted arrows (silver for undead!), but she switches to a steel crossbow when facing heavily armored enemies; in melee she dual-wields a steel sword and a silver katana.Snail's Pace wrote: Vaermina robes for sleeping

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
On my latest character, a Nord, I'm currently running around in a full Ebony Armor set with a matching Sword and Shield, though of late, I've been playing around with my Advanced Dwarven Crossbow more. There's something satisfying about the thunk of the shot.
Though I'm thinking of staring up a new character, a pure "offensive" mage, making myself more fragile and the game more dangerous feeling.

Garret Lestrad my breton battlemage is wearing the blades armor with nordic carved boots and gauntlets and an adept mages hood. Hes wielding either "the blood-drinker" a health absorbing ebony battle axe or the sky sunder Blade, a shocking glass greatsword. I just retired my shocking elven greatsword called Glamdring (Original I know) as my new glass one outclasses it.
Septimus vanichi my imperial agent is wears normal clothes and a the thieves guild boots, gloves and hood. He wields enchanted daggers and bows of varying quality.
Theon Lachance my imperial Bard is wearing an adept hood and master robes of illusion, he doesn't do much bardic activities since joining the collage of winterhold and ending up as some sort of Nightblade/spellsword mix with a sharp tongue and an unhealthy interest in the contents of peoples pockets. he wields several weapons he found on his travels including chillrend, dragonbane and the blade of woe. He also has a firey daedric sword and a frost enchanted stahlrim dagger called frostfang.
Lysandus van garret my breton witchhunter is wearing vampire ancient armor and ancient falmer gloves and boots as well as a circlet of magicka. hes a daedric mace of fire and an ebony waraxe of fire and has an assortment of bows and crossbows for different situations.
My oldest character still going is my dunmer assassin, malith nightblade, hes wearing nightingale armor with the shrouded hood and wielding legendary daedric sword with dagger in off hand and a legendary daedric bow.

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Switched from the Ebony armor that I had been wearing to some Daedric armor that I recently forged. I enchanted to the new gear and made several trips through Skyrim and Solstheim while wearing it. I just decided that, while it looks terrifying, I don't think I like it as much as I do the Ebony. So I went back to my closet at home and swapped the Daedric for the good ole Ebony that I had worn for a good while. I may even forge some new Ebony armor so I can place a few stronger enchants on it. Like, resist frost. Frost still kicks my butt.
Still carrying the Ebony mace and Ebony war axe. I tried a couple of different blades and combinations recently, but I just feel like the Orc is more comfortable with the well worn mace and war axe in hand.

Do that! Playing a magical glass cannon is huge fun, there's nothing quite like frying or freezing a butch warrior with a big hammer knowing he'd waste you with a single swing but will never get the chance.noobishlord wrote:Though I'm thinking of staring up a new character, a pure "offensive" mage, making myself more fragile and the game more dangerous feeling.

O.K. maybe it's a girl thing, but I do like to sleep in Vermina Robes or one of the high level mage robes too. Undies on occasion. Vorstag is always in loin cloth, sometimes I just have to put him on command to get him dressed. Rediculous problem since our house is full of people.Finn Wolfshorn wrote:Here I was thinking I was the only one crazy enough to put on a nightgown... Ursula likes clothes and armor period.
Currently wears:
Dragonscale enchanted Armor
carry Dragonscale Shield
Orcish Helmet
Scaled or Deadric Boots
Gloves of lockpicks
When I feel like getting fancy I have Elven Armor, full set with serious high level and enchantments.
ring and necklace typically fire proof and increased health
Ebony bow of fire, plus the highest possible arrows & A bow I named "Shocker"
dual wield enchanted blades I like fire and paralyze for these and usually Ebony
I have several characters, all different. More on those later.

Mardathen is currently wearing:
-Nightingale Armor
-Nightingale Gloves
-Nightingale Boots
-Blackguard hood/Shrouded hood if I'm in weather that calls for it, or Circlet of Extreme Archery when I want to look regal
Mardathen is currently wielding:
-Chillrend (Exquisite I think)
-Ebony Bow (Exquisite) for ranged combat, and sometimes a Hunting Bow of Binding for trapping souls from afar. (Enchanting is something that I've recently picked up on, as I need them to recharge Chillrend. Makes hunting more fun, since Grand Souls are overkill for Chillrend, as it only takes about a Greater Soul for full charge)
-Mehrunes' Razor for stealth kills, something that Mardathen is very... Very good at.
-Nightingale Armor
-Nightingale Gloves
-Nightingale Boots
-Blackguard hood/Shrouded hood if I'm in weather that calls for it, or Circlet of Extreme Archery when I want to look regal

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Ajiran is currently wearing full dragonplate armor and shield, tempered to legendary quality. She's wielding a dragonbone war axe and an ancient Black Sacrament bow (mod), both also tempered to legendary quality.
Signatures are overrated.

Frank Fierce-Bear Nord Male, think of what the War Maidens hubby, looks like. Frank has a scar from what else, a bear attack.
Since he is mostly eye candy for me, he wears topless fur, or Assasins guild set. Sometimes Riften guard armor. No Circlets EVER, that is too, femmy for this guy. He does wear Amulet of Talos, kinda masculine, but definately practical.
Fights in Legendary Wolf Armor, Wields Wulfrad and usually drags one of the twins along. Sometimes, if the expedition is not too dangerous he brings Jordis along for S & G's.
Hope your day is full of suprises!

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
Ditched the Daedric armor and went back to the ebony. It just suits my Orc better. I also purchased the Mourner's clothes and hat from Markarth as some casual gear. I started out wearing both while messing around the house or hanging out in town while I sold off loot, but I really began liking the mourner's hat. So, I enchanted it with Magika Regen and I wear it with my ebony armor. My son said it makes my Orc look like a biker so I bought a black horse and named him Harley.
Dovahvrooom!
Edit to add: I'm still hauling the ebony mace and ebony waraxe, but I've begun using a Nordic battleaxe. I tempered it a bit, but it isn't nearly as strong for me as my 1H weapons. I have no skill perks in 2H, but the additional challenge of using a weapon that delivers less damage is cool.

Re: What are you wearing, what are you wielding?
I've just started up a new character, a breton male.
He's currently wearing a set of heavy iron armor he smithed himself, since it was cheaper than buying pre-fab gear. Minus the helmet, for roleplay purposes.
