Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I am currently trying Lord of the Rings Online. I have only played about an hour so far, but I hope it is good. But if it isn't, it was just a waste of time, not money.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
This will surprised no-one. GTA V. Nuff said.
EDIT:Just saw the Dark Souls part of your post, K. It's excellent but requires patience, careful planning, hoping no-one will invade you once you have a lot of souls. It doesn't tell it's plot the traditional way. It just happens. Oh and is infamous/famous for it's diffculty. Look on the Dark Souls thread to gain a better idea of what it is. Would recomend the PTD edition for the complete experience.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Dark Souls tends to be brutal if you try to play it as a hack and slash. Also, if you die and you will, it's not game over. It's just a minor inconvience to a "[&@%!] THIS GAME!" moment.

Dogma isn't very difficult. What I've heard about Dark Souls is far worse than what I experienced in Dogma.The-Shadow-One wrote:If Dark Souls isn't to your liking. I dare you to try Dragon's Dogma K. *[&@%!]* lovely.

I like it. It reminds me of Morrowind mixed with Oblivion. Try it, but expect a long download. Also, if you get a black screen when starting it, restart your computer.Linkuya wrote:Tell me how it is! I wanna try that game .

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
After playing about ten hours of LOTRO, I am safe to say that I love this game. Feel free to try it. Seems that if you like The Elder Scrolls, or fantasy in general, you should like it. Also if you enjoy RPGS.
I am on shard Withywindle, and I am a Hobbit named Solillon. Add me as friend if you like. I will only accept if I know you, are on these forums, or on the wiki.
There also seem to be Guilds/Clans/Groups. I wonder if we could make a UESP one.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I started playing Assassins Creed 2, bought the whole Ezio Trilogy set. So far it's been fun but the gameplay seems fairly repetitive, I'm getting bored pretty easily during it and find the story weak and uninteresting. Does it pick up over Brotherhood and Revelations?

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I want to try too but with only having a 0.5Mb broadband speed it just takes impossibly long to download. I think it would literally take a week or something.Jeelius-Tei wrote:I like it. About how graphics intensive is Dark Souls? Its on sale for $7.50 on Steam, but I don't want to waste my time and money if I cant even play it.

Took some pictures in the Bree-Land/Shire Border. The Shire (that's where the Hobbits are from) and Bree-Land look a lot like Cyrodiil.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
PC Gamers wanted Dark Souls on PC, so From Software made a port. A port. Yes, this game is pretty tough to run because it doesn't scale at all, meaning your computer should at least be on par with a PS3 or 360 in terms of raw power.Archer wrote:About how graphics intensive is Dark Souls? Re: What are you playing at the moment?
The PC port may require a mod to make it decent due to From having virtually no experience with coding for the PC platform but it should be as good as the console versions and may not even need that mod. It's best to investigate it before you decide to punish yourself by getting Dark Souls whilst at the same time, enjoying getting your arse kicked.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Eh, after looking at it some more, it would seem that it would just be better to get it on the 360.
To go on topic: Right now, I'm just playing a bit of Skyrim with a little Oblivion thrown in.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I'm playing the X series (thanks humble bundle). Wich one? All of them, at the same time, I just can't decide wich one is better. It's like the elder scrolls in space, you can do anything and ignore the main quest. But I'm playing mostly "X: Beyond the Frontier", first one from 1999, fugly but fun.
