Canon's a strong word to use for a place like the Elder Scrolls, I must admit. I like to say possibilities. I could say that it is canon that the CoC killed themself with poison apples. But that's just one canon to everyone else's.

Canon, according to some Webster guy is this:
Hidden:
[Middle English, from Late Latin, from Latin, standard]
3
a : an authoritative list of books accepted as Holy Scripture
b : the authentic works of a writer
c : a sanctioned or accepted group or body of related works <the canon of great literature>

4
a : an accepted principle or rule
b : a criterion or standard of judgment
c : a body of principles, rules, standards, or norms
So saying that people can have a different canon kind of goes against the definition.

I agree with Musicman, but I'm also still confused about how Fyr is the Apprentice. Wasn't the Apprentice a member of the Imperial Academy of Battlemages? Fyr was and is a member, and quite a prominent one at that, of House Telvanni. The two affiliations would seem to conflict, let alone the conflict that the timing of the events of Battlespire pose to the theory. Honestly, this is a bit off-topic, but I am incredibly interested. Potentially something to continue in a different thread?

He has that amulet to a dimension that looks like the battlespire where you get the daedric crescent and other stuff like that. I think that's the main points behind the idea, but I don't consider it canon in any way. I think the Amulet to the daedric crescent room is more like an "easter egg" if anything.

Just a heads-up, the game is currently $20 off on Amazon. I think I'll probably get it now.

We may have to wait closer to Black Friday to get that piece of news, also, sometimes different GameStops open at slightly different times.

:D I got the anthology  Finally get to play Skyrim. And have the expansions for Morrowind and Oblivion. I originally planned on trying Arena and Daggerfall (I used to watch my dad play the latter when I was a kid, and I had an... interesting... experience trying to play it with my younger brother when we were little; it involved him running away screaming when we couldn't figure out how to fight and a rat attacked us  ), but Skyrim looked so... so very... intriguing...

I'm really glad they put the anthology out; I wouldn't have been able to get any of this stuff otherwise. And I'm having fun playing. Love the maps (now I need wall space...)
