Jasmine frowned. Primes? Us? But.. What is she a prime of? Light and Dark, Void? Balance?

Using her magic, Batari lifted the layers of ice and snow that were in and around the crater with nothing but a thought. She moved the layers to the left side of the crater and gently set them down. Now with nothing in the way of her view, she carefully inspected the crater.

Underneath the tonnes of snow she removed, there was a single black mark upon the ground, upon closer inspection she could see that there were many such marks scattered around the town, then the horrible realization hit her. They were shadows, what ever had killed all of these people had burned their very shadows into the ground itself.

"Since Minerva has failed to do so, and continues to avoid doing so, all I want you all to do is learn, because what I am going to teach you is how you will defeat Liengal." Larza said. "However, before that, I want to know how you all feel about what I have told you." She said to the group.

Batari let out a gasp of shock. Their shadows... What the hell could do such a thing?? She thought, wishing she could ask the Grey Sage about this. She decided to check a few of the buildings for any personal items, especially journals or diaries that could contain information on the day before the villagers disappeared.

Any such items from so long ago would have long rotted away, there were not personal items save for some bone jewelry, some statues that depicted a great dragon guardian of the village and the homes themselves. There was nothing that could be found here, perhaps however, the Masque would allow her to see what happened so long ago.

Jasmine looked down, and then up, her hands and lips still, she felt fearful slightly, scared, and absentmindedly signed so, the sign for scared across herself.

Uzariel grinned well, enjoyment crossed him as he watched the peers grow unsettled and scared. Even Alma started to take interest in the moods of others, she was still as comfortable as can be. "My my.. I should of brought some snacks.. this will be.. wonderful.." he said with glee, chuckled at thought but his words went low

It took her about an hour, but eventually when the sun rose fully she could see that vast ice fortress that had grown around the masque.

"Hehehe..." Uzariel snickered so, conjuring up a menace for thought for he too enjoyed the troublesome plot. He saw a peer, a girl it seemed, she silent formed words with her hands, trying well to be sly and sneaky to this day. While his head never turned, two lights gleamed small in his eyes, red as pupils as they be. Their gaze was to be unnoticed, but he who he glared would feel his sight. Of all things that crawled in the dark, none more feared the feeling of eyes ever peering. He slowly fumbled his hands, making signs at he had, the words they say were to be "Magical, physical, spiritual, or not.. All the more if I can.. meddle in your thoughts.." And at his end, his fist clenched tight, breaking his gaze and his insightful play. He snickered once more, a sent chill down some spines, yet it all went to be unnoticed.. except for one.. little witch. His message was clear as can be yet clouded indeed, sinister and tricky he be. A bit cruel you can say, but he did enjoy birthing fear when and how to this day.

Batari stood back for a few moments, admiring the beauty of the fortress. It is unlike any other thing I've ever seen. The jagged spikes of ice, crude and desultory, almost like nature itself... She thought as she cautiously walked to the door of the fortress.

I lied
Batari

The door opened automatically, as if expecting her, she could feel a strange energy about the place. Almost like she was needed here, like something or someone was calling out to her. Regardless she entered into a large chamber, filled with several statues resembling a tall man with no features to speak of. There was a large and intimidating set of stairs leading to an even larger door but there were several smaller corridors leading to who knows were. To say the place was massive was an understatement, it was a fortress in and of itself, like an icy monarch was ruling here.

Larza

"Its not quite as sinister as that, you see, primes are beings of nature, and while you are not primes you have inherited a few of their properties. Namely, each of you is far more skilled than witches and seekers normally would be at your level, and as much as I would like it to be this is not due to the academic excellence of this school. Another property you each possess is that your forms do not entirely exist on this plane, while the majority of your essence is gathered here, from birth you have had a piece of yourself in each of your planes respectively, which is how I intend to utilize this unique trait. Since you are able to, consciously or not, exist in multiple places at once and as such your magic flows directly from the plane you are of, then it would stand to reason you can share this trait with one another. By learning to connect here with one another, you can draw on the powers in the planes outside of this one and bring them together to form Primal Magic, the very force of creation, which is the only way to fix the world in its current state.... Which is dire." Larza said taking a deep breath after explaining all of that information without actually explaining anything.

As Batari walked towards the center of the large room she decided to climb the large staircase, rather than wander through the small corridors. She slowed down as she ascended the stairs, Batari didn't want to run into any traps that might have been set out.

Larza sighed. "What more can I tell you? From that point on I do not know, truly I have told you all that I can. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask them." Larza said with a tired voice.

Batari

The ice steps cracked as she moved upward but did not break, it was clear that if there were any traps they would be further within. Can't have blood all over an entrance way, it would scare off victims.
