Jeelius-Tei started when I became bored of my old Youtube username. I had used Google plus to change my name, I tried plenty of Argonian names, Talen-Jei, Teeba-Ei, etc.
So when I found I could not put a hyphen in my name, I decided to make my own. I saw Jeelius, liked the sound. Mixed it with an ending, and it was done. I had changed my Youtube name to Jeelius Tei.
Afterwards, I felt like writing a story about him, so I made a phony Google plus page. Read it if you don't mind walls of text. It was originally in Google plus format. Changed it a bit, so it is in story format.

I am an Argonian. I hatched in Water's Edge on 3 Hearthfire 5E 125.
Soon after I hatched, my parents moved to the Imperial City. As a hatchling, I always wanted to be a mage. I loved to watch the mages at the Arcane University, so much that in 5E 142 I decided to attend there. I was a failure. I couldn't even cast the simplest spells. I left the University the next year. Just after I left, I encountered a fellow Argonian. His name was Teegla-Jee. He said he was going to join the Imperial Legion to fight off the invading Necromancer army. He convinced me to join up too. Weeks passed during training. Once we were ready to fight, I fell ill with Ataxia. The Legion told me I was too ill to fight, so they sent me home.
In 5E 143 I got a job at the Waterfront District docks. I worked there for only a few months, until my boss saw I had Ataxia. He was a kind man, but the one thing he hated was Ataxia.
He fired me, leaving me no choice but to go find another job.
I tried alchemy. I cured my Ataxia, but I couldn't improve my skills much more. However it left me with two things to brag about, I met the Emperor , and I survived Ataxia.
In 5E 150, after searching for a job for years, only getting septims from fishing, I decided the Imperial City was no place for me. It was a bad idea. Only one week after living there, I was robbed by the Thieves Guild. They took most of my gold, leaving only 38 Septims.
After that, I found a job there. Picks-Up-Leaves was the owner of the Riften Docks. He hired me (possibly because he was an Argonian too). It paid relatively well, gaining at least 50 septims monthly.
I have since forgot about the Thieves Guild incident, and have met several people, whom I have become friends with.
And so that ends my story for now. Not much has changed since then, and I hope all future change is for the better.

Of all these "origin stories" for folks' usernames, mine must be the dullest. I first registered to ask about a problem I was having with Skyrim and couldn't invent anything original when it asked for a username. So, I chose Nord85, because I live in a northern country and because I've liked Nords in TES games from Daggerfall onwards. In fact, my very first TES character ever was a Nord male. No clear memory why, but I think it was solely because the preset faces for them looked the best (which is, least derpy).
Fun fact: When I first came to the wiki in about 2009 (I don't remember the exact date), I created an account under the name of "Luther Lex", the name of a fanfiction character I liked. However, I never used the account.
Later, on July 14 or 15, I created another account, as I'd forgotten my password: I tried out various names, but some were either dumb or already taken. In the end, I settled on Skyrimplayer. Oddly, I did have a Skyrim character named Luther Lex, so that actually worked out nicely.
Mine is my first name. It is a variety of Geirr, an old norse word, meaning "spear", and found used as name, alone or combined, in the oldest written texts. In Skyrim the name is found as Geirmund, Geirlund, and of course Lake Geir.
It is difficult to pronounce for most non-scandinavians, as the ending -r (originally -rr) shall be stressed, and both vocals shall be clearly pronounced.
As a norwegian it may not be a surprise that most of my characters in both Oblivion and Skyrim games have been Nords.
