I would like to see more in depth customisation. Such as creating our own scars and being able to have more then one. Creating unique hair styles and so forth. As well as being able to wear clothes under armour and certain pieces of armour under clothes.
I was also going to suggest that same thing (customization), Oblivion (for me) was more in-depth although the graphics lacked quality.

If they can make a larger variety of hairstyles, more realistic and like the mods players are creating today then I would be completely satisfied. (Throw in customizable colours as well to keep the community happy, me included).

On the other hand I would like to see a Dwemer break-through in the series e.g. they're defrosted or found in a cave in Summer-set isles e.t.c. If they become a playable race, even better. Having no Dwemer for the entire TES. feels like something is incomplete from the series even though there are only artifacts & buildings and history, it's like they couldn't think of how to add them in to today's...day. :wat:

I'm only really buying games nowadays for the customization, so if I could support this somewhere for TES:VI developers to see, I would do so... 8)

They have appeared.
Spoiler:
There was a living Dwemer in Morrowind, named Yagrum Bagarn.

Very true, other than that there is no chance any other dwemer is present within the mortal plane>_> so no caves or frost freeze. Vivec himself tried to locate where they have gone and was the one to confirm they have all disappeared without a trace
Spoiler:
Yagrum just so happened to be in oblivion at the time, plus the only reason he's still alive is due to corpus making him immortal.. and gross..
Personally I don't wanna see the return of the dwemer, it feels like it could very well break the game. What we love the most about them is that we never seen them aside from their ruins and technology, and we have built so much expectation on them that it'll be impossible to match. They are best as a teaser, always left unanswered but constantly hinted on.
If anything, the Ayleid should make a reappearance. The Falmer just have, and lets admit.. we loved it. Granted most of the Ayleid race has been blended in with the other Mers, almost completely faded away with blood. However none will deny the possibility of a small hidden population that may of existed for all those times. They were the fundamental creators of alteration, just imagine what secrets they can hold.
Also I'll like to add the Maomer.. pretty simple really. Kind of dependent on setting and all, but I do suspect we'll get around to them. As a playable race? Maybe, but I doubt

They can always just make old Dwemer ghosts appear. they may not communicate with you directly, but it's still an appearance.

They have done that, and I actually liked it. It's a faded, almost corrupted image of how they were, only furthering the 'tease'. Even so speaking a language that we do not understand, yet given the chance for people to expand upon their dictionary and such

I'd like to see all or at least a few of the Khajiit variations featured in the next game. I'm a bit tired of only seeing one breed of Khajiit per game, despite all of the different shapes and sizes they come in.

We can only hope by the time we are in their homeland.. though I kind of don't want them to go overboard with the diversity, but at least make actual differences for appearance. Less so individual but regional distinction.. followed by individual traits<_<

I wouldn't mind a whole Valenwood setting with some set of Maormer-Empire alliance against the Aldmeri Dominion.

But one thing I hope for is more in-depth questlines. The Dark Brotherhood went to fast, the Thieves Guild seemed a bit mundane, Companions were dry, etc.

I would like to see skills back in the game the way they were in Morrowind/Oblivion and maybe keep the perks and use them in a Fallout 3/New Vegas style. More customization and more armor parts and weapons. More varied quests too.

Greater focus on Hand-Hand combat and for the main quest NOT to be 'the end of the world and only you can save it' like Oblivion and Skyrim.

Arena and Morrowind both have this kind of story, not just Oblivion and Skyrim.

I have no problem with an ''end of the world'' storyline, I always enjoy those. I just want the next game to get rid of the ''Chosen One'' stuff. and all of the ''Prove you worth by passing these tests'' main quests.

I hope it is in Hammerfell. The story can be that the Empire and the Thalmor want to take back Hammerfell. As the story progresses, the player can join either the Empire, the Thalmor, or the Redguards, all with their own unique ending. Lore wise though, this would be impossible, because in Elder Scrolls VII it would have to either be forgotten, before the war happened, or after the war a faction took Hammerfell over.

You know this thing called "the internet"? I heard it's full of free p0rn. ;)

But on a similar note - I want more body types, instead of every barmaid, smith, hag and priest having supermodel's perfect curves. I want my smith to have huge, muscular arms and my drunk minstrel to have a big belly.

Funny you should say that, because I saw in the Quake con Elder Scrolls Online video, there was an option to make a fat character.

A better do-gooders' guild. The Oblivion Fighters' Guild was kind of repetitive, and the Companions was interesting, but...weird. Make the player have to do some detective work rather than always just having to go into a dungeon and kill everyone.

A "summon follower" power would be pretty neat, for those annoying moments when you told your follower to wait and forgot to collect them, or they got lost and you can't wait because of enemies nearby, or they managed to warp inside somebody else's jail cell.

I know in Fallout New Vegas, they added terminals in a few places to fix any problems you may have had with followers.

I'd also love another system like Skyrim had, where you could fast travel using carriages.

I Guess I am one of the few who do not pathologically hate fast travel.... I wish they'd modify it so that the same in-game time is spent whether you fast travel or og by foot/horse/whatever though, not like in Oblivion where you can fast travel from the Imperial City to Anvil in 4-5 in-game hours, but walking/riding there takes about an in-game day...

I would like a variety of body builds, rather than the standard height and thickness.. I swear every old hag has the body of a model from behind.. >_> not that I've noticed or anything... "Blame Conan O'Brien"

As for travel, they did have that system.. in Morrowind. Also had more variety at that. I do enjoy it, allows for quick travel to major settlements>_> though personally I wished fast travel had more limits or quests didn't babystep you through everything. Granted I want something that's not unnecessarily hard or tricky, just leave me to explore for info.
Speaking of which.. it would be cool if say for certain quests or special moments, fast travel is removed from a certain region.. thus meaning you can't just pop up on the front door of the dungeon>_> rather making you journey through from some nearby settlement. It would help if you already discovered all the nooks in that region, but at least you won't be going in blind or aimless. Kind of making people rely and use more map skills but still making the experience enjoyable

Idk if that makes any sense :S

The ability to show affection. If Shadowmere has just kicked a Boethiah cultist to death for me the least I can do is pet him a little.
