The secret behind movie popcorn is trying to convince the people behind the counter to give you a combo bucket: the bottom 2/3rds is butter, then topped off with caramel popcorn.

No one could survive a full bucket of caramel, so the subtle switch as you eat away at the top layer works very well.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

My favorite snack is probably sweet bbq ridge chips *u * Or crunchy cookies.

About movie snacks - I'm with Veck. Chips and nachos are not a considerate choice when you're not watching a film alone. And with Mars - ice-cream is both non-crunchy and delicious.

I'm drinking beer for the first time in two weeks, and I hope my friends are right and there really aren't any serious interactions with my meds, regardless of that "don't mix with alcohol" warning on the box.

When I go to the movies, I just get a drink. No eating required. :)

Speaking of, I just saw Elysium. I love sci-fi movies! Although they all do paint a grim picture of future earth...

There were so many post-apocalyptic movies this summer. Oblivion, After Earth, and Elysium, to name a few, although Elysium does look like the best of all of them.

I've heard the message is very heavy handed, unlike the message in District 9.

Yeah, I heard the same thing, Musicman. But I'm not exactly expecting a groundbreaking masterpiece, just some solid sci-fi entertainment that doesn't completely insult my intelligence.

Oh yeah. It's a very up-in-your-face message, but I still really enjoyed it. I mean, it's nothing ground breaking, but it was enjoyable.

The main protagonist from District 9 played an antagonist in this movie, though. I almost didn't recognize him! But man, he was a [&@%!].

After Earth is a horrible movie. Never watch it ever.

You know when you have overslept the previous day and your body doesn't like the change in your sleeping pattern so it throws a hissy fit and makes you feel tired the next day? Yeah, that happened to me today. :(

Yeah, that usually only happens on the previous day, not the next one, for me.

I'm anti-snacking, definitely a 3 meals per day person. Maybe a piece of fruit in the afternoon but that's rare. I also dislike crunchy things like chips (popcorn is ok).

Boring? Yes. I like to drink hot tea when watching movies.

I mostly drink tea because you can only drink so much coffee before your eyeballs fall out of your head.

And because green tea is yummy.

I can relate to this overwhelmingly. Some mornings I don't feel like coffee..
